What's in the other region PS stores? I know what's in AU and USA because I've created accounts with them. Just wondering if there was anything worth going through the registration process once again to access the others content.

How many PS Stores are there anyways?

There's as many stores as there are countries in the list to choose from. All you have to do is check them out yourself, the japanese one is worth taking a look at. I posted a guide to creating a Japanese account in another thread in here.

If you want the Japanese content, you might as well sign up for the Hong Kong store, as it has that content and English menus.

Could somebody please tell me any other demos which are available in the different region stores.
Japan, N.America, etc.
If there is something i want i might create one.

The only demos I bothered to d/l from American store was NBA 07 and Def Jam: Icon (which I've downloaded twice and both times it has said that it is corrupted data). Funnily enough, it is the most downloaded item on the American PS store... probably because people did the same as me, download twice and still can't play it.

Other than that, I don't remember much else of what was on there other than a HD trailer for TMNT movie and some add-ons to the PS3 Sonic the Hedgehog game.

No, no, no. The NBA 07 demo worked perfectly, just like everything else I d/l'ed in the USA store... it's just Def Jam: Icon that won't work. There were other demos and videos etc in there, quite a bit more stuff in there than what's in the AU store. It's just that I, personally wasn't interested in the other stuff on there.

You may have a different opinion on what they have to offer.

Yeah, just make sure you know the zip codes for American cities, or else it won't let you continue with sign up.

Once GT HD is installed, do you need to keep the install file that's in the games list on the xmb or can you get rid of that?

Hey people i just created a US account, and got a few things on there.
Anyway this is the different stuff they had on there :

Well to my memory tats about all they had on there. They have quite alot of different stuff. Im thinking of creating a japanese account or a hong kong one maybe.
Anyway i hope that helps some of you out.

It's not NBA Live 07, it's just NBA 07. It's a completely different series and that basketball game sucks pretty hard, at least from what I've played in the demo.

I think it's a 1st party Sony title. Anywho, I was down by 20pts in the 4th quarter of that demo and managed to only lose by 1 point at the end solely by shooting a 3 pointer everytime I gave the ball to Dirk Nowitzki. That's how stupid the game is.

Yeah, I bought 2k7 on PS3 (USA version) recently. I should recieve it in about a week (which is somewhere between 1 - 2 weeks before it gets released here).

As for NBA 07, my main issue with it is that the actual game uses sim rules but plays like an arcade game. I'm sure in the full version you could change the view but since the demo doesn't allow it, it doesn't give a good impression. I like using a view that's similar to how I watch real Bball on the tele.

Anyway i just want to say that i am creating a Japan PS store now, well im going to try to to see if it works. Ill get back the results and tell you them as soon as i know:

A)if it does work and B) if its worth it and C) whats on there.

I have the e-mail address all sorted with Japan region so we will have to see.

UPDATE : I did it, it was hard getting through all the Japanese ( i know none

) but i winged it some how. best thing to do is go to Hong Kong memorise the words and everything there then remeber it as you enter it.

If you want full details on how to do it i have everything here so feel free to ask.

Anyway the store is pretty packed. Its all in Japanese but i can follow the pictures. So far im still exploring so i will update again tomorrow.

UPDATED UPDATE : There is nothing majorly different or good on there. Some different trailers, lots of downloadable ps1 games, and a few different demos i have no interest in. But in the end its there if i need it and now i can navigate my way through the store now, so if there is something that is only available in japan (the Ninja Gaiden sigma demo could be japan only, proabaly not but there is a possibilty) ill have the store open and raring to go.

From what I hear, the Hong Kong PS store has the exact same stuff as Japan but in english language.
