hey some advice please on whether this is worth getting...
i might be buying an 80gb NTSC ps3 off a guy from adelaide..
the package includes console with box (it was the motorstorm pack but no motorstorm) it has the card readers and 4 usb ports and can play ntsc ps2 games...
come with two games, fifa 08 and cod4, also has hdmi cable and all box contents, he assures me its in good condition...
for $600 what do you reckon??

Definetely. It's a real bargain, plus you will be guaranteed to be able to play any US Blu-ray, which sometimes come out months (or years.......Crank) before Australia.

sweet....what about buying us ps2 games?? are they easy to get a hold of?
would be good to get a copy of chrono cross, is that compatible?

but will a us machine play asian ps2 games or are you talking about the us version of MGS?

Great deal btw. Wish something came my way like this before we picked up a couple of 40Gb  But Im happy either way - We just popped in some bigger HDD's.

ended up picking up a white ps3 off ebay, its in the purchases thread, so now i think there is this good deal on the 80gb ntsc backwards compatible one (the one im talking about in this thread)...
i guess if someone is looking for one, or wants to know who is selling it pm me and ill give you the details of it.....
ps thanks to drift your a legend but i guess i wont be needed you to check this out any longer...
