God Fucking Damnit! USE SPOILER TAGS!
I've taken the liberty of editing your post, so other's don't wander into the achievement list like I just bloody well did. Do that again and you'll get a warning + a fine. _________________

It's pretty easy to see where some of those 'choice' ones lead, and I consider seeing how to get all the achievements a spoiler because it is one. Half of those would be 'locked' in game, so even if you went for a peek at the list you wouldn't neccesarily know how to unlock it.
I'd prefer the surprise to be honest, and titling a thread that is only about a list of achievements as 'Fable 2' was a touch misleading. _________________

I agree, while the information contained didn't really need spoiler tags, the title should have stated more than just "Fable 2". It should have said "Fable 2 Achievements".
Anyways, they look interesting, the achievents that is. _________________

I generally take that approach too, and it really irks me when I see the achievements for a game I'm really keen on early as then I find myself angling my play through towards a certain achievement(s) rather than just seeing where the game takes me.
I suppose I over-reacted a bit, but I'm still labeling this firmly in the spoiler category. _________________

I don't think thats an overreaction at all, but we know why that is
I got sick of trying to play out achievements, i'm not as young as i used to be and my hands argue with me over motor skills contstantly now. _________________ kill, kill, kill.....the white man. Kill the white man, kill

Anyway my apologies for not tagging them as spoilers, to be honest it just didnt occur to me, but I can see why some people prefer not to see achievements.
BTW I named the thread "Fable 2" so there wouldnt be 6 different threads on the same game as there usually tends to be. _________________ XBL/PSN/Steam: BenC82

My apologies also for getting all yelly when a polite reminder would have sufficed.
I am very much looking forward to Fable 2 - there is very little (solid facts, not P.M. hyperbole) I've read about the game that hasn't added to my anticipation. With that said, have retailers started putting prices to this yet - and if so, does anyone have any hints as to who is offering the best price for the collectors edition? _________________

i'm still not sure what to think about Fable 2. if it truly delivers all the "P.M. hyperbole" that's going around, it'll be fantastic, but for some reason i'm just not as hyped as i would have thought i'd be.
i don't think it's "Fable 1 letdown" either, because i really enjoyed what i played of that (although i never finished it) so, no idea.
on the achievements/spoilers thing - bit of a double-edged sword there, especially if they haven't been tagged "Secret" like most narrative-related achievements are.

GAME has the collectors edition for $99.95, same price as standard and I was assured that if you pre order at that price, thats what you pay, even if the price goes up.
So get in quick everybody. _________________

Hmmm, I was pretty disappointed with the original Fable. This one is looking pretty sweet though. Might wait for a few reviews and maybe a price drop before I pick it up. Plus I have a MASSIVE backlog of games I need to play through anyway.
Having said that, some of those achievements do seem rather fun... So who knows, perhaps the hype machine will manage to suck the cash out of my wallet at launch after all. _________________

I got my copy of Fable during my HSC exams and I ended up being late for several of the subjects... And it was well worth it I loved the original Fable and Chapters was also a great addition so naturally I can't wait for the second installment. I just hope it delivers in terms of content, an Oblivion scaled Fable would be sweet as! _________________

He is talking about fable 2 ( 360 exclusive ) and down at the bottom is PS3 and not 360, so it was just kinda funny getting this news from him.
And im sure he has a 360 , but you know...

I'm not sure if I am falling for the hype or not here but the more I hear/see of Fable 2 the more I want it. I never played the original (am looking to change that though) so I don't really know what to expect from this sequel but so far the way Co-Op has been integrated into the game and the whole having a house/wife/child thing sounds interesting me. And then there is the interaction with your canine friend. I'm really interested in that because it sounds like they want you to really connect with the dog and if they pull it off, it could be quite an experience (in the same way that you connect with say, Agro from Shadow of the Colossus) but then again it could just be hype from good ol' Peter too.
I don't know, as I said before everything I hear or see makes me really want the game and as it comes out just before my birthday I am seriously considering asking for it to be my present, but at the same time not knowing how to approach the game makes me hesitate. Guess I will find out in October, then. _________________

I thought the first game was graphically impressive but lost interest in the playing part, I needed a compelling narrative and there just wasn't one. I'll be getting this game though, might not like it for the exact same reasons but I'm expecting the technology to be worth the price of entry even if it doesn't linger in my collection. Who knows though, it could be brilliant. Fable could have been brilliant, but for a few things which sank my boat. _________________ I make videos of varying hilarity

Hey guys - I got to conduct an interview this morning with Josh Atkins, the guy who designed the combat in Fable II and he clarifies the online co-op issue a little bit.
