(NOTE: I have emailed Luke for permission to post this on the forum)
Download from: www.pixelhunt.com.au
The new issue is OUT NOW and boy do we have a lot of stuff to show you. Not only do we have a completely new design and new contributors, we also welcome opinion articles and competitions to Pixel Hunt.
Opinions
Dylan looks at what the hell 'next-gen' actually means, Jake is our inside man in the media who delves into the way that gamers are portrayed - and James let's us in on his secret art of playing Tetris.
Feature
He may look a bit like a 70's porn star now, but Snake still has the buns of steel to take on PCMs and one hour cut scenes. We give you a 4-page feature on MGS4.
Reviews
We get swinging and digging with LEGO Indiana Jones, yell OBJECTION at the DS with Apollo Justice, make heads roll with Ninja Gaiden 2, and smash the shit out of each other in Brawl. Oh, and James has never played Kane & Lynch, but he reviewed it anyway
R&R
Cool Shit is back, with more quirky, geeky accoutrements found on the World Wide Web. We also have a listen the the Mass Effect and MGS4 soundtracks.
Win
Games! Which ones? Read the zine to find out.
So there you have it peeps. Bigger, badder and more... uh... you know - stuff, than before. And all for the entry fee of $0. We hope you enjoy.

Hello, fellow game-playing internet people. I'm James, the sub-editor on this little project. Preeeetty, preeeeetty, preeeeeetty happy with how the second issue turned out. Try to pick the fake review. Also, please send us money. We're so hungry.

Hi everyone! I'm Matt, the other sub editor. (they did it, so I felt obliged )
I hope you enjoy the issue, we've all worked really hard on it. Make sure to let people know about it, and by doing so, you could win games! _________________ The Nintendo Basement

Well - Atari wouldn't give us any cover images because we're not 'print'. So we made do with what we got.
Looking forward to seeing what people think.

The ninja gaiden review is a bit weak from the perspective that i read it more as, i played the first few levels and i didn't look at the options menu. Other than that, i would prefer if hyper didn't represent me at a poo throwing contest let alone as a gamer

http://blogs.ign.com/Patch_IGN_AU/ Well, Patrick Kolan at IGN likes it
I'm also really interested to hear what readers want in Issue 3. As we can produce this pretty much in real time - feedback and suggestions will be taken on board.

Thanks guys. It's great to see people supporting Aussie writers.
Being in WA myself (and having survived as a freelancer for the last 4 years), I've pretty much scoured all my contacts to bring you the best guns for hire from all over the country.
We're working on setting up a subscription service so that we can give you a heads up when each new issue is on its way Cheers.

For the moment, I think it's fair to say we'll mostly be sticking with games. Maybe there will be room for expansion in the future, but for now feedback we're getting suggests we should stick to games.

As do I, not to mention your blog as well Sir Gameboffin.
It felt weird reading this thread and seeing the familiar names, but that's what I get for hanging around Hyper I suppose.
Anyway, I haven't read the first issue of Pixel Hunt yet let alone this second one and that's mainly because I'm not a fan of reading PDF files, so, hurry up with the HTML version because I really want to read some more of your stuff.
Oh and Jickle, love the Bottom of the Barrel. _________________

Subscriptions should be working now
Thanks for the Boffin love, people. I have been slack with the blog - and now you can see why.
Okay, now to get back to Issue 3....oh, and some actual paid work.

Thanks man. It's really been dividing people. I've been told "this was a bad idea" by a few people, "that was hilarious" by others, and Atari, who distributed the game, have probably been more supportive than any other distributor after reading the second issue (I wonder if they read it? >_>).
