Yeah this thread is super buggy. It must hate the transition to a new page... or Zero's pointless need for so many sticks . _________________

That handle is gross! Far from 'sexy'.
And for $185, you could get a V3 SA or TE round 2. _________________

This has dual-mod out of the box dude, much more value for money. I'd rather this than the TE sticks any day. _________________

Umm dual modding can be done cheap guys. Google it.
The other Qanba one you own Benza looks way better too. _________________

Yeah but I'd rather pay to have one done by someone that knows what they're doing too

Don't get me wrong I love mine but lack of headphone port is kind of a pain.
That new one though, the stick looks really close to the buttons. Seems like it could be awkward. Esspecialy with all the free room on it. _________________

Hey guys anyone know where I can source a Q3 from? Kay-nock isn't around apparently and Play-Asia don;t have any in stock. The Q3 is the only wireless one correct? Anyone used it? _________________

from what I've heard (Haven't actually used a wireless one) they're generally not as good as a wired one.
Pretty sure Hori had a wireless one out. Could be wrong though. _________________

kay_nock is currently in hospital after having a car accident, he should be out in 2 weeks. I just bought myself a Qanba Q4 from Play Asia, good stuff. It's always better to get wired rather than wireless. _________________

He's been in the hospital for almost 1 month now, had some serious head injuries but he will be ok, thankfully. _________________

Glad he's ok. Anyone actually used the wireless q3 though? I'm assuming it uses the same tech as the ds3 and I've never had any dropped inputs with that. How much is shipping from play-Asia? _________________

What are our thoughts on the Q4?
Build quality, how well it performs....any issue at all with the cross platform useage?
I have a MvC TE for the 360 and a V3 SA for the PS3. Would it be worth my while selling those to get a Q4? _________________

Keep both sticks, the Q4 is excellent though I still prefer the V3 SA since I'm a biased bastard. If you have the $$$, just get the Q4, the more sticks, the merrier.
Build quality is good, very sturdy and has a lot of weight to it. Sticks/Buttons are all Sanwa. Cross-Platform play works very well, no problems whatsoever.
As for the Q3, I'd not get it based purely on that it's wireless, that's my only problem with it, you wont get any dropped inputs but still. Shipping from Play Asia is around $30 iirc (fedex).
EDIT: When you're here in Melb Benza, you can try out the Q4 to see how you like it. _________________

Ordered a custom stick from a friend in the USA, it's finally completed. The case is wooden, with Sanwa parts, plus it works across all platforms PS3/360/PC. Cannot wait to get my hands on this. The reason why I got a bat top instead of the ball top is because this will mainly be used for Tekken, where I'm used to the Korean style setup.

Holy Sh*t. isn't that one of the $600AU custom arcade sticks from B15SDM? but yeah that looks mad awesome.
Anyway since this thread has sorta revived itself, i might ask some questions(Since i've been thinking about customizing my TE stick for quite some time now).
1) the Sanwa buttons for the TE stick is OBSF-30 or OBSF-30RG(snap in)
2) Should i bother swapping out the Joystick or not?
3) Meshball should be able to swapped out on the Current Joystick right?
4) Can anyone here make me up the template/artwork? I've got the idea of what i want in my head but i have no skill in Photoshop + i can't find anybody to do it for me.
If someone can do up the template for me, that'd be great. I'll pay you in $poons. or soemthing >_> _________________

My stick is from MKPCustoms, a much cheaper alternative, and yet they're still amazing sticks.
The TE buttons to my knowledge ARE snap-in, no soldering or anything of the sort.
Unless your joystick is acting up, just leave it the way it is.
For the mesh ball, I think all you need to do is unscrew the current ball top you have right now and screw the new one.
I designed the template for my new stick, so if you need help, I'll be happy to lend a hand. But there are far more capable designers on the SRK forums. _________________
