by the way, this blog is 100% real.

having difficulty believing this guy can legitimately exist, but oh my god, some of the stuff he says is gold. by the way slight NSFWish

I'd like to believe that is real (but I seriously doubt it), there are actually people out there like that.

80's and 90's seem the wrong way around.

EDIT: Actually the 60's seems wrong (hippies rock?) or at least missing some other styles, and the years are wrong for some aswell as being in the wrong order.

The Doors? Woodstock? What kind of music did you think that was?

I think you forgot to quote the rest of the sentence. Of course yours are good points, but the point I was trying to make was that the hippies were not the only style to be gracing rock concerts in the 60's.

And I guess people are forgetting that the 80's wasn't just home to the metal explosion but also new wave and the emergence of hip hop as a commercially viable musical style?

Here, pedantry, I found you a door!

I wouldn't usually pick on things like that, but that particular image is incredibly wrong and deserved it.

No, you're just pedantic. See: my comment about the 80's. Why not pick on that?

hip hop isn't rock. And I have mentioned concern about the other two years, but not in as great detail. they are all wrong.

And you're being pedantic again. New wave is an off-shoot of rock, yet you avoided that.

tl;dr - You're being pedantic.

I'm not avoiding anything. They are all wrong, especially the style they have under 90's which should really be 70's and that's where I would put new wave.

They are incredibly wrong in this particular picture.
