i just had to look up the 'consumer advice' for the game, and its only rated M for moderate violnce (good enough reason to be rated M) i'd have though it would also have something like 'suicide themes' aswell.
Going to have to keep my eye out for this

Fortunately Persona 3 FES is also coming.
The suicide themes wouldn't make sense, since there's no suicide and i remember no conversations about suicide.

There is a reference to suicide, but redemption may have been referring to the use of the evoker.

I haven't played in a while, so i can't remember the reference to suicide, but i do remember the constant use of the evoker without anyone dying.

I think its the symbology. Gun to the head, bang, stuff coming out the other end, that sort of thing.
