The best battle for me was that one on the bridge of eldin after admeister left. And that wasn't the controls being unresponisve, it was just me being useless at wii-mote controls 
It was unplayable with us three. And I think it was better against plazma rather than Admeister. Most of the battles I was in with Admeister, it would just freeze and I'd hear the battle, but it would move so slowly and I didn't have a fucking clue was going on

...Were we seeing the same thing? In nearly all of our battles I was getting serious freeze-lag, especially the one with Pikachu and Diddy on Luigi's Mansion. I could hear Pikachu thundering up a storm  but was stuck on me throwing a banana 
Speaking of banana's, that was hilarious when you were samus and slipped on them like 5 times in a row

That's even weirder. There were a couple of moments of slow down, but other than that it was running just fine. I wonder why it was only like that on your end?

I had to send my Wii into Nintendo for Brawl :[ Ohwell they have got the service running quite well, I rang them Monday and got the package Tuesday which I returned the same day. Heres hoping I get it before the weekend : )
Looks like a fun game ^^

Hi! This is my first post on Palgn!
Just wanted to say what an awesome job this site is doing of keeping Australian gaming news on the web up to date, there isn't a day I go by without checking this site for new games! (YAY Diablo 3 and Starcraft 2)

Is it only me or any of you out there getting Connection errors when playing online with Friends? I keep getting the "86420" error yet can random brawl in Basic Brawl without any problems. Me and a friend just could not play a game together due to these errors on both ends.
Frustrating.

Just did my first real play with Sonic. He is the most overhyped character ever. Only one type of attack (that spinny ball thang), a recovery move everyone else can utilise, and a poor final smash. My character is still Marth, but I use Snake from time to time, as well as King Dedede, Kirby, Mario, and Falco.

What's so bad about his final smash? It's better than Pikachu's imo (easier to control) and can really knock people out if they have a bit of damage.

Iv'e finshed unlocking all the stages and charecters and I have 8 challenges left to complete. I don't seem me completing them though, as they are all time comsuming tasks just to earn 1 trophy and nothing cool like a CD or stages ect.

Just unlocked Toon Link, and subsequently the Pirate Ship stage. The stage is tremendous fun, now one of my very favourites. Toon Link is a fun play too. He's a bit too similar to Link, but I guess it was a bit unreasonable to expect him to be a hugely different character.
Azza, I can't agree with you on Sonic, I find him ridiculously fun to play with, just racing around the stage, occasionally hitting people. Not that I'm very good at this game, but still, it's fun.

Since no one is ever around in my friends list I've resorted to Basic Brawl matches with strangers. 90% of the games have terrible lag. Always when there's 4 players. It gets annoying. Also the way you always have to wait for a minute and a half before a match starts while waiting for others. The waiting is longer than a match.
Then when you do get in the only characters you see people play 95% of the time is Ike and Snake. Especially now since that sliding up smash of Snake is getting exploited. YAWN.

Just finished unlocking all of the stages with the last one being Kirby's from Melee. I was a tad disappointed that there wasn't another new one since the Brawl stages screen looks like it could display one more. Still loving it a lot and many more things to unlock in the Challenges. Having lots of fun taunting in the middle of the match as well, especially Captain Falcon's "Show Me Your Moves" and Wario's "Wa, Wa, Waah!"

Speaking of taunts, are the words that Zero Suit Samus says in her taunts her first words in a game? Because i can't remember her saying ANYTHING previously...
Just putting that out there.
Also, in reference to Vae, I find Toon Link a harsh reminder of the numerous, godawful "clones" of Melee. However, I do agree with him about him being fun to play though.
And point number three; About my recent anti-Sonic ramblings, I just find that he is a bit spam-ish, with most of his moves having one appearance, and It just gets boring after a while. I still think Andy from Advance Wars would be a better third-party character, with a megatank final smash and all.

Yep, that's one of the things in Brawl that doesn't get mentioned very often, those are indeed her first spoken words.
