Wow! Props to PALGN for getting a review out so fast, I wasn't expecting you to review it at all since it hasn't garnered much attention.
Now see, I'd been considering purchasing it for a while now, but I've never played a Civilization game before (or any 4X game) and I thought it sounded like a rather daunting gameplay concept to master. But after reading this..

The game has become a definite purchase for me (the glowing review and 9.0 score certainly helped as well ). Continuous updates and enhancements? Sign me up, that's how you treat your customers!
Any idea where to find the game though? I've been keeping an eye out for it the past few days and it hasn't appeared on any Australian retailer websites, not even on Play-Asia at all for pre-order.. has it only been released in the US so far? _________________

It's a Stardock game, from the same developers as Galactic Civilizations 2 I believe (which also is a one of the highest rated turn based strategy games around). They also did a similar thing with copyright protection and updates for that game as well.
It can be purchased digitally from http://www.stardock.com/. As an indie developer, it may not hit the retail shelves.

IRT Passa:
Auran distributed Stardock's last game (GalCivII) in Australia. So with Auran gone they might be struggling to find another distributor.

I'd say "SOLD!" but I have a feeling that it'll take another month out of my life. Yes it'll be a month of gaming bliss, but I need that month right now. _________________

I knew this game was going to be ace (to the point of starting a thread about it ages ago in the PC forum... which no one replied to, bastards). Definite purchase for me.

This sounds like it will beautifully fit the hole I've been feeling in my gaming life.
It sounds like an awesome game to come back to for a couple of hours a couple of times a week. SW or BG mods would absolutely kick ass.
I will buy it this week online if I have enough quota left, or if someone knows how I can get the download counted as peering.

A friend of mine linked me to this game but it's such an overwhelming concept I couldn't really grasp what it was about, until I read this. Great review. I'm leaning heavily towards this being my next game...
