I have a PS3.. I have a wife.. I don't play my PS3 much these days because I only have single-player games and horror/scary games that she doesn't like to see when I am playing etc..

I asked her over the weekend, while watching my newphews playing Skylanders, whether she'd be interested in playing some games with me when we're at home... she said yes.. but not every day.. she's not a big gamer but she does like the more simple games she has on her iPhone. You know.. like Fruit Ninja, Traffic Stop, Plants vs Zombies.. that kinda thing..

So I am looking for recommendations for games, on PS3, that I might be able to play with her. There's just too many games to sort through from scratch.. so maybe other people have done this before and can shed some light..

Castle Crashers. It's a cartoon button-masher type game with very basic level-up elements. My mum (yes, my mum) has played this with me on many occasions and she likes it. She also enjoyed Lara Croft: The Guardian of Light (I think that's what it's called), it has puzzles in it as well as fighting, so it might be worth looking at. They both have a demo on the PS store, so you could test them out and see if she likes them before buying.

There's also Rayman Origins (which also has a demo, I believe). It's not only a very beautiful game, but very fun too.

My wife is similar, she enjoys the odd mobile game, but getting her on the console is tougher.
Recently we've been playing tintin, which is awesome for a movie game, the coop is awesome. So I highly recommend that.

Castle crashers without a doubt, every girl loves that.

There's also an arcade game called Splosion Man which is fun for all genders.

The LEGO games (Lego Harry Potter, Indiana Jones, Batman, etc, etc) always go down well with non-gaming partners.

My wife prefers FPS and in fact will not play any other genre. Has very little interest in mobile games, etc.
As such, our favourite at the moment is Borderlands. Previous have been Resistance 1 and Army of Two 1 & 2.

Me and my wife prefers to play real-time strategy games on our PC's. It's a actually one of the best times you can have when you got your wife to play video games with you considering not all have time to do so especially if you already have children.
