| Quote: | Blisters on my feet.. damn new shoes
I bought them yesterday because I wanted new shoes to wear tonight to the Lady Gaga concert.. and they hurt, but I thought, well I'll just wear them in for a while and they will get more comfortable.. But today they hurt really bad so I need to get big plasters or something to go over the blisters. I wont let myself suffer for style |
Suppose it's a bit late to tell you now but vaseline your feet and it acts as a barrier against blisters.

yeah, it's easy enough to revert to the previous model, but it's irritating that it has to be done through the about:config instead of being a standard menu option item. |
whats new ? i noticed something about it ... ?

Do you mean opening a new tab, means opening a tab immediately adjacent to the active one, as opposed to the furthermost left? That totally tripped me out too for the first few uses! _________________

as jemist said, the new scheme is to open tabs to the right of the tab you're clicking from, it's creating parent/child relationships between the tabs, whereas the old scheme was to open the tabs at the far right all the time.
I can see the reasoning behind it - i can see it's potential - but i've just got the old scheme so ingrained into my habits that the new way is just too weird, and i don't like it.
i don't mind that it's there, i just wish it were an easily changeable option. (not that it's hard to change it back) _________________

I really dig it - although the initial few seconds of 'Hang on... wheres me tab?!' were confusing!
My fingernails are getting stupidly long, but after the big house clean-up (and making my room look like it's not permanently lived in...) I can't find my damned nail clippers. Driving me nuts! And no, biting is not an option! _________________

There's a way to change it back by editing some of the more secret settings. Do a quick google search and you'll back up and running the way you used to in no time _________________ http://bencadphotography.com/

Eating bread always helps when I have really bad stomach aches, like so bad I can't even stand up straight.

People who mosh like retards. You know, the kind that just flair their arms and punch you in the face the second you enter the pit, then look at you all scared and apologise, wtf did you expect would happen if you're doing that? Why are you doing it in the first place? It's not fun and is just a waste of space. So then I just avoid the pits until they start a good circle pit that's actually kind of 'organised' and isn't as retarded.
I'm that these problems are limited to AA concerts because I don't want to deal with these idiots at 18+ concerts. _________________

My internet bandwidth was finished today. I still have 2 weeks before it renews. Now i will admit i used to much, but once i hit the 75% mark i stopped downloading (that left about 5 or 6gb left for the month)
Now i gotta figure out where all that internet went... i'm getting really pissed off at having to wait for bloody google to load _________________

You'll get some at 18+, though it does depend on what you're going to see.

Yeah I suppose I've pretty much only seen Hardcore / Metalcore bands live, so I suppose you kinda expect some idiots. Plan to see Dillinger for my first 18+ experience though (they're here a week after I turn 18). Hopefully the technicality of their music drives away those kinds of people, although at the same time I wouldn't be surprised if there are some.
Any tips for dealing with these sort of people other than just avoiding the pits? I like to get in there and move around heaps, but it's not worth it when there's people doing that stuff.
Oh and also, last night I was at the front, and some dick jumps on my back, grabs the vocalists arms and tries to sing too, then I'm pretty sure he accidentally grabs the mic cord as he falls off my back and so the vocalist struggles to get it back in again, this same guy does this a few other times, and also pulls out the cord then. And when he wasn't doing that he was getting to the front and falling backwards pushing everyone back into the pit, then he would just stand there in the middle of the pit for a bit completely still looking at the ground. _________________

Unfortunately you get idiots everywhere, there was one random dude in the BtBaM pit that was flailing and kicking all over the place, even the others in the pit looked at him like he was an idiot. Didn't stop him though.
All I can suggest is try and keep as far from them, but as close to the action, as you can.

That guy kept getting pushed out into the guy next to me. The guy next to me, who was even smaller then I am, eventually cracked it and took a swing at the guy. I found it hilarious. _________________

Bats. Noisy buggers, stirring up the dogs & they also shit everywhere. The back fence as well as the side of the pool are covered in shit.
And I've lost my well-read copy of Slaughterhouse-Five. I hate replacing novels that I've 'worn' in through repeated readings. Call me weird, but I have an emotional connection to these novels and to replace it with a new, clean copy seems wrong.
