Dunno DIU. Me and Mitch ordered from tehre like a day apart too. Mine shipped on the 25th, which was Wednesday last week. What about you?
It will be interesting considering we're both in Adelaide.
Edit: Still nothing. I'm gonna get my air freshener ready just for when it does come. Damn smelly Hong Kong packages.

My copy arrived today  I put about 2 hours into it this arvo while i watched Spiderman 2  I've been needing a game like this that i can play while watching a DVD or while the missus watches TV. Quite enjoying it so far, I picked the Fire monkey and called him Drunkn in honor of myself

my diamond hasn't arrived yet from dvdcrave. I know that it takes 1-4 days (its been 3) but i was kinda hoping it would come by now. Yeah so ive already picked out my team. Tell me what you think.

I'm about 12 hours in to Pokemon Pearl and my Pokemon just got Pokerus! Nice!
Anyway, if I put an infected Pokemon in the PC, does the Pokemon remain infected forever unless I take it out? I know this used to happen in the other games, but I was wondering if anyone knew whether it had been changed in this version ...

thats a really good list, i started with chimchar and cought a shinx, both are now fully evovled and powerful, but just about every other pokemon i have has been traded through the gts, for some reason, if you put a reasonable pokemon up (e.g. steelix [you can catch the easy]) and ask for one of the final evolutions, you got a fair chance of getting them.
Hell, you put up one of the early catchable pokemon for one of the starters, you got a good chance of getting them
EDIT** where can i check for everyones friend code?...i dont want to have to sift through the friend code thread thats got every other game

It seems I might like this game (As I say for all Pokemon games) I might get Diamond or Pearl ad my brother gets the other one.
Is there any major differences between Diamond and Pearl?

major difference is in pokemon, about 20 pokemon are exclusive only to one version, i went with diamond because it has scyther, tyranitar and murkrow.
but, palkia (pearl) is the better legendary, its a water/dragon, which means it has no water weaknesses, and its not weak to ice, making it only sucky against another dragon type, but since it has a pretty damn strong dragon type attack itself, theres not much to worry about.
dialga on the other hand, is steel/dragon, making it weak against fighting, ground, fire, ice and dragon

Its all about Shinx and Piplup, biatch.
Playtime = 1 hour 9 minutes
Playtime on toilet = 30 minutes.
Been a while since I've had a game that I've done that with. Good stuff.

Winningz = 1 Badge. Level 17 Turtwig (aka Raphael), level 10 Geodude, Bidoof, some thing that uses Bind, and the bird.
I'm spreading the love but obviously Raphael is getting more.
and yes you have to get the first Gym badge in order to wifi. Go to the poke centre and go down the escalator to set that shits up.

Winningz = 2 badges, 4 25-20 range Pokémon and a competition.
Such a good game, though looking at this play time, I've no idea what I'm spending so much time on.  Also been beaten online already, mate of mine's completely powarleveled his Pokémon in about 3 hours' playtime.
I also managed to get a Japanese Chimchar for my Zubat after a tip from these forums. Thanks, whoever that was.

I've played the game for a while now. Got the national dex. But the thing that was really flawed in the sinnoh dex (your first pokedex) is that the only fire pokemon available are the starter monkey and Ponyta. No new fire pokemon. The only new fire pokemon that I know of is Magmar's evolviation and a volcano pokemn.

The biggest downfall of Pokemon as a turn-based RPG is that by the time your in the second half of the game, nearly all battles are one-hit encounters (this was the case with the first games anyway).
Early on it'll take about 5-7 hits for a battle but later on, even without excessive levelling, it only takes 1 to 3 hits to kill. This also makes status changing attacks and items pointless as well as making battles only last half a minute.
(Of course this could be my mistake but I've played all Pokemon games for about a total of 15 times and all I remember is finishing oppenents, or being finished, in just a matter of moves).
Pokemon need to have their HP boosted majorily for me to be interested in this game. In the original game, Charizard should not be able to be beaten by only 2 Surfs. No challenge, no interest. There are plenty of other turnbased RPGs to play.
