Welcome to our reader reviews forum. This is a trial which will run for a month to assess whether it’s feasible to keep the forum. We’re accepting reader reviews from our members and we’ll occasionally give out T-Shirts (and other goodies!) to the most popular reviews.
There are no strict guidelines for the reader reviews, content must be in English and must be clear and easy to read. Reviews which contain explicit language will be deleted. Reviews can be in any format (% / 5 / Thumbs up)
Otherwise, review away!

Just we'll make it so the scores are in a PALGN format and we'll add a couple of pictures. We won't edit the CONTENT in the review (unless requested).
Titles that aren't PAL released can be reviewed.

Sweet! I really hope this hangs around ... any rules on the age of games? I wouldn't mind throwing together a review on a classic or two... not to mention a few more recent titles

^ I think reviews of classic games is an awesome idea. Many people are still purchasing rare/older games and such. It would be great to get opinions on older games, so we know (or have an extra opinion on) what games are worth tracking down.

This is a great idea, I love reviewing games and giving my thoughts on them and arguing with people about their views on them. I might even start on one tonight.

Excellent idea people. Us users should pick up the slack left by the PALGN writers. Let them review the latest games and we should probably take care of the more obscure/older games.

I reckon that is one thing i'd like to see palgn officially do:review LIVE and VC releases.I eman, most gamers already have a fair understanding of older games coming out but it would still be nice for those who don't, and for those of us tha do, to see how the re-release holds up against the original.
They don't even have to be 'proper' reviews.Make em pocket reviews or soemthing, say a paragraph or two long, no more.Oh and don't pull a gamespot and compare arcades and vc games graphics/sound etc to today's games.Jeez that irks me.Not a fair comparison by any stretch.
'Hey lets compare zelda(nes) to gears of war.'
Let' not.
