Supreme Commander is basically the only RTS game that successfully employs the feel of a full scale war. And I agree with Nickack, massing units does little to nothing if they're just sent to attack blindly. Smart commanding of units and combinations is what it's about in Sup Com, hence why I think it's so amazingly good.
