Why is it stupid? They may both be arcarde racers, but they are still different games with different merits.
I thought arbok's problem was money constraints however its time constraints, so if they're both worth it, then get them both!

If it's time constraints, then there is no reason not to get both. Excite Truck comes out a full month before Motorstorm. _________________

motorstorm is not really that much of an arcade racer, which is why i would recommened it over excite truck. -Value for money, + it is a better game (well acording to reviewers, and my self (played both))
But up to you. _________________ Samsung 32" LCD

Why dont you just buy Excite Truck from EB and try it out for 7 days and if you dont like it then get Motorstorm?

Why in the hell did it take 2 pages for a suggestion that level-headed and sensible to come along? *slaps head*
Good idea, Mamba. _________________

Are you kidding? Get both!! Excite Truck is hella awesome and Motorstorm is now the new reason i'm getting a Ps3.
I heard the physics in Motorstorm are some of the most accurate/fun seen in a racing game and imo....racing is all about the physics. Also have you seen the graphics? In motion? How can you not want that? How can any gamer in their right mind not want that?!
Go buy Excite Truck now....i bet you'll be jumping around the room from all the fun you'll be having. _________________

hey Ugh
yeah it's funny reading my post here since then i'd not played Excite Truck, and now i really can not get enough of it. it's mad fun that is not only great for long-time gamers, but it really gets the non-gamers interested too.
i still don't really care that much for Motor Storm though. it still comes across to me as this generation's Smuggler's Run. it looks nice and pretty, but isn't really anything to write home about. but given i've only ever played it in the (dis)comfort of a shopping store, i'll give it the benefit of the doubt until i've played it for a while from a proper living room. _________________

I feel the same way, I want to download a demo of the game once I have my PS3. I'll make my decision after I've had a shot at that. _________________
