Why on Earth is everything for PS3 delayed? Spiderman 3, Pirates of the Carribean, Transformers. Surely they'd be trying to get the movie games out when the movie comes out. _________________

21st June 2007 Pokemon Diamond/Pearl
21st June 2007 Meteos Disney Magic
No hope in hell for Disney Magic to compete against Pokemon. At least in the short term. _________________

The reason i figure the Ps3 titles are delayed over the others could be for a couple of reasons. 1.) The developers must've received dev kits and tools a lot later than 360 ones cuz the Ps3 hardware was finalized a lot later. 2.) The Ps3 currently is harder to program for because of the cell processor which needs a little time in the industry before developers are comfortable with it's architecture.
Looks like I will be picking up Metal Slug Anthology for the Ps2 now. I just want tradional controls for it and i've also got the street fighter anniverasy arcade stick so it'll be awesome to use it with that. Now to wait for the bloody thing to come out.
I honestly can't believe games like Bioshock, Stranglehold and GTAIV are coming out this year.....and Halo 3 aswell! Wow....these are some of the biggest games EVER for me and in the same year I played God of War 2! Wow what an awesome year for gaming.....I hope it all ends up going according to plan. _________________

Where the hell is Super Paper Mario for Wii?
How bloody long does it take to translate a game into European languages? _________________ "Bird flu sparks a complete ban on serving chicken, leaving KFC unaffected." - The Chaser's War On Everything.

That's what I've been wondering, even if it's not coming out soon we should at least have a release date so we know to stop anticipating it for at least a while.

Can't believe your a Nintendo fan and you are wondering? This is Nintendo for goodness sake.
They don't need a reason and they have always been this way.
Do you think the Wii will make them any better?

As I've said before in previous editions of the releases, there is NO good reason for the delay of SPM, or even the announcement of a release date.
Anyone who wants to hide behind the "translation" excuse is kidding themselves. There was a mere month between the releases of Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, between the US and European GameCube releases - and it has been way over a month and we don't even have a solid DATE.
I could go on about how we're mistreated but it would be nothing new.
The only thing that I can think of, (which still isn't a good excuse) is that SPM doesn't "sell" to the masses, hence the lack of priority.
Mark my words, Corruption will be delayed as well. _________________

We'll probably see SPM in August. That the only month a first party title isn't being released. Or will they focus on pokemon for June, July and August? _________________

Yep yep yep. Games are continually getting bigger and better and now that all the next gen hardware is out we can finally play some of it. _________________

Paper Mario just got rated by the OFLC. I'd say, based on NAL's usual time frame, you're probably looking at a late June-July release. _________________

Of course it will, especially judging from the previous Metroid Prime games at least.
I'd imagine the only the game we'll receive from the 'big three' this year would be Super Mario Galaxy.
Though, I seem to remember David claiming Nintendo are pretty good with worldwide releases a few months ago right David? _________________

I'm predicting we'll see two of the big three this year.

And IGN AU have even reviewed the game too. Are Nintendo holding out on us? My faith is steadily declining. _________________

Although Nintendo themselves said if one gets delayed it will be Galaxy, I personally think Brawl will be though _________________ I update this Signature once a year, I better make it a good one... no wait can't be bothered.

Hmm what's in the pipeline for me?
Wii
- Metal Slug Anthology (we have been waiting too long)
- Mario Striker's (online )
- Mortal Kombat Armegeddon (apparently it works quite well)
- Mario Party 8
DS
- Pokemon Diamond/Pearl
Don't have a lot of money to throw around, but am definitely looking forward to Striker's in 2 weeks, and a release date for SPM already
But what's going on here:
| Quote: | 9th August 2007 Ratatouille
31st August 2007 Ratatouille |
EDIT: on the SPM note we may get a release date for Battalion Wars 2 soon, as it has been slated for a late September 07 release in US (info taken from here: http://www.n-europe.com/news.php?nid=10498 ) _________________

Well I had a US GameCube so had been importing GC and DS games so not really used to waiting.
Good to hear it's been classified though, hopefully that means it's a little closer to release.

Metroid Prime 2: Echoes released here either in the same week or within a week or two of the American release. It was only the original Prime that was delayed massively. So Metroid Prime 3: Corruption may not get delayed after all. We'll soon find out though since this year is just going out the door... _________________
