Prison break

Excuse the double post here, but, I assume Prison Break was off this week due to it clashing with the Origin?

If not, then I'm an annoyed Nismo. Hell I'm annoyed Nismo anyway because a week between episodes is already long enough of a wait for me, let alone bloody two of them.

But anyway, with regards to my above post, we did indeed see what happened with Haywire and well I don't think it was a very good way to 'continue' that particular storyline. Seemed a bit cheap, if you ask me but whatever.

Why cancel it for some crappy sport only two states play in and only 2 states and a territory care about? It was on, along with Heroes (which I haven't got to watch yet) and 24 (which I fell asleep towards the end of and haven't gotten to see the end of). Sucks that you missed it, though.

Regarding last weeks, yes, that was a crap way to end a crap Haywire story. Personally I thought they could have used him a hell of a lot better.

Haywire's exit was at least was a pretty effective vehicle for further developing Mahone's character. I thought it was rather poignant.

Maybe the show can finally get back on track now that the two things that I personally thought were only dragging the show down (Hillbillies' family fantasy and Gangsta-dawgs sick daughter who can't act for sh!t) are now pretty much taken care of.

I'm still not happy with the show and yet and I can't seem to stop myself from watching it. I think that if it didn't air after Heroes, I'd have given up on the show loooong ago. Anyway, there can't be much left anyway. Might as well see it through to the end.

We haven't heard from Bellick in a while. I wonder what he's up to...

Prison Break was on? Please tell me that I am right in saying that it was only on in some states and that it was taken off for two weeks in others? Because I swear Prime said that it wasn't on this week. That and Heroes being moved to Thursday meant that they were doing it because of the clash of the Origin...

If I have missed an episode of Prison Break because of this, I am going to go off my nut...

Yeah in NSW it comes back on Wednesday 9:30 but heroes has moved to Thursdays.

I just assumed that because we were missing out for a week, the whole of Australia was missing out for a week but I guess not. Sucks because now discussion in this thread will be even harder...

Excuse the double post here, but, looks like by the time the Origin is finished for the year I will be 3 (read that again: THREE) weeks ahead of the rest of my own damn country.

Yep, guess won't be on this week for me but will be for you guys? Oh, Prison Break will be. YAY for me.

Seriously, this is a joke. You know what's worse? Prime slightly spoiled what would happen in our (Canberra's) next episode at the end of the last episode we had air. I was fine with that though, until earlier this afternoon. I was watching the V8s like I normally would and during an ad break, guess what comes on? An ad for Prison Break. What's wrong with that?

It was a bloody ad for the episode you guys are up to, spoiling even more for me. (in a way)

That's just pathetic and this whole we have to be behind thing is really getting on my nerve. (like you can't tell, either)

I realise it's not allowed to be mentioned here, but I'm seriously considering doing that option so that I don't accidentally get the show spoiled by either Prime, or someone on here who is freely allowed to discuss what they've seen. If the Origin was on Prime, I'd understand the reason to take it off more than I do now (I do realise they're taking it off with the assumption that everyone will be watching the Origin anyway), but since it's not this just sucks. Stupid Prime.

i wonder if it were shown here?

we get Origin shown in WA, but i have nfi if PrisonBreak was stalled because of it. i know Heroes was on though.

^ If Heroes was on in WA on a Wednesday when the Origin was too, then yes you guys got it. If however, Heroes was moved to Thursdays like it was here then chances are that you didn't get Prison Break on the Wednesday.

Anyway, I can't vouch for NSW or QLD but I'd assume it's the same for them considering they are the two states involved and you may as well include Canberra as being NSW, so yeah. Regardless, 3 weeks behind is pathetic...

in QLD, heroes was moved to thus, but PB remained at the same time. i assumed it was being moved, so i watched the origin and didnt tape PB... but it was aired and i missed it... but oh well, watched it a week later, still understood basicly what happened. kinda sucks i missed some important events...

I never thought of it like that, actually. Having more weeks of Prison Break than the rest of you lot because of our interruptions. That kinda makes me not care as much, but then I remember it's not going to be on this week for us and I'm annoyed again. One week between episodes is bloody long enough, let alone two.

But I suppose I should just find a bridge and, well, you know.

This show hasn't just jumped, it's triple backflipped with a twist over the shark. Tonight should have been the final (well it really should have been months ago but tonight would have been nice too).

Which episode was that?

I thought the one shown here today (the 21st / second last of the season) was quite good, lots of unexpected twists (actually unexpected ones, not just ones that are supposed to be unexpected but end up being exactly what you saw coming).

It probably should have ended by now, but its looking like the finale will be interesting enough to keep me watching in season 3.
