I know Obs, I usually avoid it with Heroes but I couldn't with Prison Break last night. The impact of that final scene was setting in and before you know it channel 7 have already dispelled any questions the cliffhanger had left.

I'm not going to drop any spoilers, but I saw the final episode for season 2 and it really does set up series 3. It was extremely intense, and I now feel that series 3 is going to be awesome.

Just gotta wait forever now, and I'm dying already. icon_sad.gif

I went into last nights episode thinking that if this doesn't grab me in the initial 5 minutes, I'm giving up the show altogether. I ended up watching the entire episode, an episode I think was one of the best of the season so far. Yep, that was some good timing.

One of the best eps of the season if you ask me.

*******This could be considered a small spoiler********

But when Linc popped up from behind that shack once all the action was over was hilarious.

What if people havent seen it yet? People could either tape it to watch it later, Missed it and simply are waiting for next episodes to get a recap. Anyway its always good not to spoil anything for anybody.

If anything, I think the latest episode that aired proved exactly why Prison Break is so compelling to watch.

SPOILERS!

Quote:
At the start of the episode who would have thought that their father would die? At the start of the episode who would have thought that only Sucre would get on the plane? At the start of the episode who would have thought that they'd be caught by the end of it? At the start of the episode who would have thought that Agent Kellermann would be 'erased' like that?

Those above examples alone are enough I think to show what I mean. I mean sure, some of the show can be predictable but for every moment that IS predictable, there's another 5 or so moments that aren't and I think it is for that reason alone that I love this show so much.

As you can tell I thoroughly enjoyed this week's episode and well after what happened at the end, I really can't wait for the next one. Should be awesome.

Also, I'm beginning to think that Prime aren't spoiling as much as they could be anymore. I mean, what we saw in the preview for that episode did suggest certain things but the actual events in themselves ended up completely differently to how I was expecting them to be, so yeah maybe Prime are doing that intentionally now to keep us hooked or something?

The one thing that stuck with me in that episode was how almost immediately after Micheal boldly exclaims 'Today is the day we stop running', they start running away from agent Mahone. That's gold icon_lol.gif

That hilarious misstep aside, the episode did end pretty well. Can't wait to see how they get out of this one, maybe with some more running?

You know, I was just thinking about how much they are missing an oppurtunity by having the mental guy play no part in any episodes for ages, and by not having him forming a temporary alliance with other characters like the others are.

The sad thing is that since he has been absent from the majority of season 2's episodes, I can't even remember what happened to him the last time we saw him. I remember him stealing that photo from that old lady, but that's it. icon_neutral.gif I do agree though, adding him into the mix would definitely make for some interesting developments. Was he even aware of the money in Utah, though?

In a way though, it ended up being true considering they were caught. icon_wink.gif

After he stole the photo of a field in Holland, he decided to escape to there, and was shown in the next episode with the dog that had chased him attempting to build a raft to sail to Holland. That was, like, 8 weeks ago or something, and there has been no mention or use of him since.

Ha wow what a great episode. I can forgive how Mahone managed to get into that secret service tunnel so fast without the border control knowing, because the twist end shot was great. Didn't see that coming at all.

I, actually, did. icon_neutral.gif

I have to say that compared to last week's episode, this latest one wasn't as good. It was a lot more predictable than the last and nothing really all that fantastic happened save for perhaps the ending bit. Don't get me wrong it was still an awesome episode but a lot of the events ended up being predictable. Of course now though it begs the question, will Kellerman be trustworthy enough?

SPOILERS IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THIS WEEK'S EPISODE, BUT SERIOUSLY, WHY READ THE THREAD NOW IF YOU HAVEN'T?

I knew that one of them was going to change sides for an OMG PLOT TWIST, but was unsure whether it was going to be Kellerman or Mahone. Didn't expect Mahone to die (assuming he did), though, I thought he would stick around for a bit longer in the series.

Other than that I liked the little meta-reference where the former guard (forgot his name) was in the cell and it zoomed out just like it did in one scene with Michael in the first season.

^ I couldn't help but draw a wry smile when we saw that Bellick was now stuck with Bubba (or whatever the big inmate's name is, I'm going with Bubba).

^ I thought that Bellick's 'full circle' thing was decidedly tongue in cheek, especially with that identical zoom out from the pilot episode. I laughed. Who knows, maybe it could a starting point for a spin off series? icon_razz.gif How riveting that would be.

There were a few stupid moments in that episode, mainly Kellerman and his sniper rifle. Why bother with the long distance killshot if he planned on taking Mahone down anyway? He'd had a tough time getting to the brothers from that distance, but then again, the entrance behind him lead straight to them anyway. The magic of television and sloppy writing icon_rolleyes.gif

It's dipping into groan inducing viewing again. There's still quite a few episodes left too. Once again while I watch Heroes, I'm wondering whether I'll bother sticking around for Prison Break. I hope the quality picks up again. It's just inconsistent. Some eps are great, others OK, some just downright bad. This one was OK.

Last night's was a bit disappointing. I thought Michael's decision to call the media was idiotic, and it ended up that way. I'm also dumbfounded as to how Channel 7 can advertise "you'll never guess this twist!" all week when they've been showing the twist just as the voice over says that icon_eh.gif

Ironically, though, Channel 7 built it up a hell of a lot better than the show itself, which pulled the whole thing from nowhere with almost no explanation.

Plus, how on Earth would Michael just know the number like that?

One thing I thought was good about the episode though was Veronica being mentioned again. It's been a while since her death and the show was 'acting' as if she didn't exist at all, so in that regard it was great, BUT, how did Lincoln know? As far as I can remember no one but Terrence knew about it...

Oh crap that's right!

Damn I'm forgetting a fair bit then. That makes me a sad panda because this is easily my favourite show on TV.

Nice episode last night, no real supposed-to-be-unpredictable-but-turns-out-to-be-exactly-what-you-are-expecting plot 'twists'. Just some nice character use. I dig.

I liked seeing that guy who is calling the shots for the 'company' go off his nut when he realised that Linc and Michael had created the video. It was also good to see Sarah again, for reasons of which I'm sure I don't need to describe. icon_wink.gif

Haywire's return was reasonably decent as well, hopefully we'll see what happens next in the next episode especially with that young girl.
