indeed it was, with the exception of one track, which was Marilyn Manson (the one with the children laughing/crying.)
i've had the cd on my Amazon wishlist for years, i really should bite the bullet and buy it. _________________

Your not alone it sounds different in my head too.
It's not the ice theme, I believe that one is the overworld underground theme(no, i'm not contradicting myself lol, the overworld map theme that plays before you select a level. That one is vanilla dome, where the 3rd fortress is located(and the......red? switch palace). _________________

yeah, i really don't remember the game that well, it mightn't have even been the ice-world i liked, but somehow that's what i remember it was.
basically a large underground cave, which i -think- was ice.
but yeah - overworld map music, not level music was what i liked. _________________

Yeah, Mario World had some great music. I like the fortress theme a lot, and the bowser one is't all that bad. _________________

the sonic game on 360 and ps3's song on that trailer is seriously just a joke

It's the overworld music from the cave at the top part of the map.
Not a very accurate midi though.

On an offnote.. anyone know the name of the opening song of Casino Royale? most of the song is mediocre but the chorus is good _________________ xfire = andylulz

Not really game music but I loved that song Late Goodbye from Max Payne 2 so much I downloaded it and sourced out the artist to see what else they had done. Pretty good band actually (Poets of the Fall).

Well it depends on how you define Adventure, first. I must admit I don't know anything about either game but ever since you mentioned your love of both (via MSN and elsewhere), I've had an interest in the titles as well. You and I do share similar tastes after all, well sometimes anyway. Thanks for linking me to the soundtrack by the way, it's downloading as I type this.
I also would like to mention two more games that I love the music from, Geometry Wars first. Sure it's simple and can be repetitive (depending on how good you are) but damn if it is not addictive as hell at the same time. Awesome music for an awesome game.
But the main game I wanted to mention is Fahrenheit. Damn that game had some good music in it, be it the original compositions or the 4 tracks from the band 'Theory of a Deadman' - all of it was awesome and complimented the game wonderfully. _________________

I found Yoshi's Island to have good music. Seriously what had a better final boss battle music than this?
Another great soundtrack IMO goes to Mario Kart 64, loved the themes for some of the courses, such as Wario Collesium.
I thought Dragon Warrior 8 was really rich in music too, I remember going woahhhh check out this music, only time I really noticed it. _________________

yep - i know that theme, it's pretty great.
i also love the music when you move down the corridor from Garr -> Geddon/Shazzrah. that music is used a few other places, like Doan's chamber in Scarlet Monastry, and a few areas in Scarlet Stratholme.
Chris Cornell - You Know My Name is the Casino Royale intro song. _________________

I listen to a bit of Koji Kondo. I have a few Zelda OST's which are nice.
I think the Perfect Dark music is excllent music. Especially all of the fast paced stuff. _________________

Adventure as in point and click, heavy on dialogue kind of game. Monkey Island, Space Quest, Day of the Tentacle... to name a few examples. Oh, and no problems on the linkage. I can't guarantee that you'll like what you hear, but I think it's pretty damn special as far as orchestrated soundtracks are concerned. _________________

^Doesn't count.Your wrong*lalalalala*
It needs to be featured in a game first, then can be sold as a music album(like the ff music), not the other way around.
Just in case you were wondering, yes, cause i said so _________________
