Yes, that's what happened on the NES. The original hardware could only have four sprites lined up horizontally or vertically, so when more then that number happen in gameplay, they flicker. |
Thanks for clearing that up, i never new that thanks alot mate.!!!! _________________

I just hoep that when Sonic 3 and/or Sonic & Knuckles is released, they release a combo version, cause the games were meant to be one big one at one moment in time.
*brainwave* They need Chaotix from the 32X, so not just those 27 people who bought one can play it! _________________

F-Zero X is the next N64 VC game (well, for Japan, but everywhere else has gotten the same N64 games as Japan every time)
Source (Japanese, but whatever, F-Zero X is in English

Thanks dude, very cool. My top N64 game after Goldeneye.
I hope 3rd parties get up and release some N64 games on VC - Castlevania 64, The Goemons, Body Harvest, Mischief Makers, Sin And Punsihment would all be great cleaned up on the Wii.

Well both Mystical Ninjas had been added to the OFLC website for a while now. I love that game. Sin and Punishment is also awesome. It wouldn't be hard to translate the menus as most of the game is in English. _________________

I just logged on then to Wii Shop channel and all there is this week on the VC is NES Open Tourniment Golf.
This sucks. Seriously, $7 for this? The VC has been much better in theory than practice up to now... _________________

The biggest flaw with the VC really is its pricing - $7.50 for Donkey Kong Junior Math? But then $12 for LttP.
Not that there aren't a hell of a lot of other flaws, but if NES Open Golf was a couple of bucks, I could overlook the fact its the only game there. _________________

I tried for the first time to region swap this weekend (after clearing the account on other games), and it wouldn't accept my Aus Cards on the UK shop.
Has anyone else run up against region-coded Points cards or am I missing somehitng simple (other than buying uk ones off ebay)? _________________

Currently don't have one (but am old enough to get one). Another reason to cave into getting one... I really want Bonk.

How much more expensive are the UK points than the Australian ones? I'm keen to get Dragon's Curse (and maybe a few others) but I'm a bit reluctant to fork over the extra cash...

Slightly more expensive - instead of AU$15 for 1000 points it will cost about AU$17 (AU$17.13 on my credit card statement).
If you plan your purchases well you only have to swap for TG16 games and then swap back for SNES etc games. But I'm just leaving it set to UK.

interesting thing, when they could only show four they got around it by realy only ever showing 4 so to show more the other ones appear alternately so it means they flash, i thought it was quite ingenious,
they probably could have fixed it for the wii but they would have to completely re-code parts of the game so i suppose thats why they still flash

Donkey Kong Country 2 tomorrow (today for Europe). Niiiiice, probably the best DKC game too.
I really need to finish LttP first, though. _________________
