All Wii talk is to be done in this topic in the next few days to reduce clutter in the forums - Luke
I've decided that there should be a general Wii thread, so anything of Wii in general can be spoken of.
It's 9 days to the Japanese event and new demos to be had. As well as new games. (I'm slightly interested in Project H.A.M.M.E.R and I hope it turns out alright.) It is the day for launch details for Japan. Then the US event and the Europe event follow. What about Australia? they should announce the launch among the dates or shortly after.
I'm excited!

This is a good idea, apparently the nintendo fanboyism in a few of us gets to a lot of people so to have one thread all for nintendo or Wii inperticular keeps us people out of otherpeople's hair(not that im going to go all fanboy on you and not that i even am a fanboy).
Neways that Wii demo footage you are talking about Cerebral is good. i downloaded the full thing but it took a while for those who CBF here is a link to the thing on youtube (its only red steel mind you)

Wow, Mario Strikers graphics are really impressive. In fact all those demos like great! The Wii is shaping up very nicely!

Yeah, but I don't start threads unless it's important, like if I need to ask a question about something. Besides, there aren't all that many PS3 topics anyway, I just said it so that the Sony fans didn't feel left out.

The PS3 thread would be better once there was some more solid information on the thing, both for the console and upcoming games. We know a little but that's it.
As for this thread, awesome idea. It will be nice to have general threads for the 3 consoles. On the IGN Weekly thing, I enjoyed that although I'm definitely not interested in BWii or whatever the acronym is. Strikers looks cool though and so does Red Steel, infact I think I want RS a little more after seeing Fran's hands-on with it. It is coming along nicely.
Please tell me that Wii Orchestra is not being released as game?
It looked, quite frankly, boring. Not even having the awesome soundtracks from Nintendo's main franchises could make that game fun, I don't think...

That Orchestra bit with the Zelda soundtrack pretty much made me wee my pii my pants for the Wii. Everything about those games oozed class. I love my 360, but none of the games have 'magic' that only Nintnedo can bring. Like Mario Strikers had SO much personality.
I'm getting Ouendan this week after finally cracking. Was trying to get it cheap, but cracked and imported it. Pretty much had to buy it seeing it had one of my favourite songs from Full Metal Alcemist (or is it the other way round  ).

And yeah, Wii orchestra looked a bit dumb, maybe you have to do it yourself to get the idea?
Wii Sports still look bad ass though.

I'm really dissapointed about this. Was easly my most anticipated game for the two or so weeks prior to E3, but now I really can't see my self getting this unless it gets stellar reviews. Also, I can't believe it isn't online.

Actually it'd be kinda sweet if the music plays to your motions, as conducting is a fun thing to do, especially when you have a lot of people you are working with, it can get really hectic.

Guitar Hero is only one instrument, this game would be a whole bunch of instruments plus the ability to be a conductor. You could get three (or more?!) of your mates together and attempt to play the scores of Nintendo games or even more impressive classical pieces.
