As the increase in sound intensity is logarithmic, having two of the same sub would only be about 10% louder in a decibel measurement than if you only had the one subwoofer, so its definitely not needed unless your in-car speakers are amplified I reckon. I have one sub installed and even that is a bit of overkill as the 4 in-car speakers are only amplified through the tiny output of the head unit.

Just get a dual voice-coil subwoofer then. Baiscally the same output as two regular subs, plus you can still fit a slab of beer in the back with no trouble. Problem solvered.

I understand the point of Subs but not blue lights. If you find the light in the boot not good enough, wouldn't you install red (or even directional green) lights so you don't wreck your night vision?

^ Maybe he prefers the intensity of the blue lights, and doesn't need to maintain optimal vision for night operations immediately after accessing his car boot. _________________

Lol.
I have my prestige night vision goggles for my night operations.
I prefer the colour blue, and like I said in my first post, I can switch to the normal boot light if I need a more useable light.

2x subs are only really needed when you're getting 10inch or smaller subs. The problem with the more common 12" subs is that the sound from the bass isn't as sharp for faster paced music such as Techno, Trance and Hardstyle but it's perfect for Rap, Hip hop and everything else. Whereas, 10" subs will deliver a sharper sound but not as loud as the 12". That's why 2x 10" is usually seen upon as one of the best all round set ups. _________________

I understand where you're coming from, though it could be that you're used to people who crank the bass and make it sound like arse rather than creating a level sound environment across all speakers. It doesn't have to be about feeling it (the only time I like to "feel" the bass is when I'm playing a game so then every shotgun blast and every explosion adds that extra dimension of interaction), but a Subwooker can handle frequencies lower than standard speakers, without one you're literally missing part of the music (in much the same way that dedicated tweeters/horns will help to flesh out the higher frequencies above and beyond a standard "all rounder" speaker).
But hey, power to you if you can dig it otherwise.

Ok I'll give it a whirl to get this thread back on track.
I don't know if it made the news outside of Sydney, but it absolutely pissed down here over the weekend. I went out to a restaurant with some friends for dinner. Unbeknownst to us, it bucketed down even harder while we were eating, and the suburb we were in was one of the worst hit in Sydney. We planned to go around the corner to a coffee/chocolate shop after dinner. We got around the corner and this is what we saw.
That's not road, that's the gutter and pavement beside the cars absolutely flooded to above ankle deep. Apparently it was about 200mm of rain that fell in an hour or so. _________________

Well, school photos are coming up (well, today, but I'm still sick and have been the past week, so I'll just get it later when they do the recalls)
I resorted to going into one of the IRC chatrooms I frequent and asking for ideas. Some suggested I shave my head and glue some to my face as a beard. Others suggested I kill myself. Hell, a few suggested that I should just do trollface, seeing as in my school photo last year I looked like the dog from the DO NOT WANT picture. In the end though, I decided I'd try doing this:
I'll try to make it angrier when the photo's getting done.

been playing with photoshop a bit the past few days. tried making some really obnoxious stuff and according to my facebook friends, i succeeded.
remember troll dolls? this is what i'd probably look like if i were one of them. i look kinda deformed and awkward with my shirt tucked into my pants because i'm upside down... if you couldn't tell.
1 million points to anyone who can guess which n64 game cart was randomly used in this picture. it isn't even a 4 player game, i think it supports 2 players though.
this last picture is just cropped and rotated. _________________ my video game collecting blog: http://keith.nallawalla.com/
