To be fair, Nintendo dropped rumble last gen, and I didn't miss it because the trade off (wireless) was so worth it.

well, rather than make a thread no one will care about, you can all ignore this one again.
Immersion has offered to look at adding rumble features to the PS3 controller on the proviso Sony drop their appeal.
Linky
apparently Immersion believe that since the rumble operates at a certain frequency, the motion sensor should simply only require a filter to this frequency and voila, motion sensor and vibration in one nice hand shaped package.
i did kinda wonder about this, but figured it was more to do with the lawsuit (it's omission i mean) than anything else.
so who thinks Sony will accept? _________________

Who knows, really?
I would hope they would go through with it (or put a rumble in there somehow, whether its with Immersion or not), but are Sony worried about the rumble enough to spend more than $90 million on it (even though they'll probably lose the appeal anyway)? I'm not sure. _________________
