I would have thought that this was a given. Well, not close to completion, but playable at least in some form. _________________

True, and if it is playable, it will be awesome! _________________

Well I know I certainly expect to see it at the Expo with more details announced about it, but I wasn't expecting it to be playable.
Let's hope he is right then. _________________

I would say its going to the best E3 yet, bad luck MrAndy
Can't wait to see some footage (of the game and people playing it) for Metroid Prime 3 along with all other games.

No - she's pretty adamant. I went last year, and I'll be going again next year (doubling up with another trip), so she's putting her foot down.
I used the "best E3 ever" line and she said "that's what you said last year!"
"It WAS! Then... first look at Xbox360, first proper look at PSP (wasn't out in Oz), got good looks at Gears of War, UT2007, and many others..."
"See? You're getting all hyped up about it again!"
"Yes, but that was NOTHING compared to what this year's going to be like!"
"No"
"But..."
"No"

...and my girlfriend wonders why I'm not ready to get married.
Can't you swing it the other way and put your foot down?
Seriously though, good luck with that. _________________

Nah, seriously, she's actually pretty cool, so when she wants me to do (or not do) something I usually listen. E3 is cool, but it will cost me the airfare and accommodation and because we're building our house at the moment, it's an expenditure I can't justify.
I'll just enjoy E3 from afar and download like a demon - seeking to break my record downloads in a month - 248Gb. _________________ GAMEparents

Yeah that sounds fair. Such a guy thing to do though, leave out the important details so the wife looks like the villain. _________________
