7 hours worth of cutscenes....If this includes the QTE parts it will probably be 8-10 hours long....If not, this game could be huge!

Played the demo a few days ago and having given it a bit of thought I'm planning on getting it. I like the art style and the scale of the battles showcased in the demo, particularly the second fight. Augus is a beast with that sword of his.

JB must be doing some side-dealing with THQ or something: 3 Capcom games, 3 pre-order bonus wall scrolls.

The collector in me wants to pre-order the game just for the wall scroll but the realist in my says to just get it at budget price.....>_>

Played the demo last night and to be honest I really didn't like it, the gameplay was horrible and there was a cutscene every 10 seconds, just from the demo it felt repetitive so not sure how the game would hold up

What was so bad about the gameplay? As for the cutscenes, it's just that kind of game. It's very sure about its narrative and is designed to be quite cinematic, with QTEs being used for the many events which would be very hard to implement if the player were in full control.

finally! someone that agrees with me.

It's basically that the demo is almost completely cutscenes and QTEs. Sure the cutscenes are awesome but if i want to watch a movie/anime, i'd watch an actual movie/anime.

There's so little gameplay and it's so basic (Schmup lite + Single button brawling) that it's concerning if that's all it is to the gameplay. It's probably gonna be entertaining but it really does look like there isn't much "meat on the bone" in a sense.

True, but since if that's as batsh*t absurd as it gets, it'll slowly become boring......unless the start is pretty slow-paced and it reaches to that (The demo chapters are like chapter 11/16?).

I don't know, we'll just to wait and see. but from the demo it's not really much of a game as it feels like you're not really doing anything: you don't feel like a badass that the cutscenes make asura out to be because instead of actually beating the crap out of the giant god you're just doing a QTE.

The game itself is a great experience but once you experience it, it gets stale. Trust me, once you beat the campaign there's nothing else to to do and you won't want to replay story mode. Other than that it is a good game. I wish they focused more on the gameplay than the cinematics. But, if you're looking for a game that has an engaging story, Asura's Wrath is for you. Rent don't buy, because this game is not worth your $60.
