I currently have over $100 in preorder deposits with GAME australia's online site, and they specify the deposits are non-refundable so I can't even cancel them right now.
I'm getting really worried about what will happen to Australia's GAME since UK's GAME is bankkrupt. If Australia's GAME goes down as well, would that mean I lose all the deposit money?

If GAME Australia goes out of business and into administration, you would become an unsecured creditor. You'd need to wait for the administrators to either: find a buyer to take over business, with the possibility of them honouring your preorder deposit; or wait until everything is sold off and you receive a portion of the proceeds after any secured creditors (ie employees, then funding banks). The former is good, the latter is bad. If the latter occurs you'd get a couple of cents in the dollar back.

The result told us that Game AU was indeed affected by Game UK. A mate of mine pre-ordered Diablo 3 and never got his copy as well as the refund. It sucks.

I heard Blizzard were handling refunds for Aus preorder people who were affected by Game. Should check out their site for details on how he can get his money back.

According to the link below it's too late now to get a refund. You had to purchase the game again via digital download before May 21st, and then submit your GAME Australia preorder/prepurchase receipt to Blizzard before June 30, 2012.
