I really haven't taken to Trophies.
They just seem unnecessarily convoluted and the 'levels' make comparisons hard. Also seems kinda pointless to put effort into them when I do most of my third-party gaming on 360.
THAT SAID...
I have a Platinum. Yay. From Sly Raccoon. Going to try and fully complete the trilogy, since they're juuust about my favourite games on the PS2.

I started a new account so back to 5 trophies on that one.. Its an account to reply classics on and unlock some stuff.. Like the Uncharted's, Skyrim etc... Probably use it for PSV as well. I overloaded way to much on games just for trophies so its an attempt to scale back to playing what I love rather than the chase of a trophy..

What I mean is still work for some trophies but on games I love... Not just playing a game for the sake of lets get some trophies... I have too many where I'm just after the trophies and hate the gaming experience.

Got the Plat for Motorstorm RC.
It is a fun little game, reminds me so much of Micro Machines. Well worth the $10 for me.

I'm going for the Tomb Raider Legend plat atm. My first trophy for it was obtained back in April last year.
I might also get the last trophy in Underworld.
I should hopefully also get the 3 J&D plats.
Also hoping to get the MGS PW plat.

underworld sucked had 1 of the collectables glitch on me
lucky was only about 1 hour in the game and noticed.
peace walker is like 100 hours 
did platinum #51 Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 over night

On that note, I don't recommend any game for trophies. They're nice and all, but if it's not a game that you actually want to play, then what's the point? going as far just for trophys would of been 1 time when i went to the store and borrowed terminator salvation, usually dont buy games unless i want to keep them got about 160 only about 50 played, that marvel game was 8$ so figure play and trade it in being a comic fan didnt bother me.

Got my 23rd plat with Tomb Raider Underworld.
As for buying games solely for trophies, I don't do that. I own quite a lot of games that most consider crap but I have bought them because I genuinely want to play them.
If I can't be stuffed getting trophies for a game then I don't get them.I haven't got a sinlge Uncharted plat because I don't want to play them on the hardest difficulty. I haven't even beat any of them on Hard let alone Crushing.
