Thank you. _________________ Always Outnumbered Never Outgunned.

I've been getting that message exclusively. We're not the only ones, and there's no "fix" for it. It's a message that seems to come up when the Vita can't detect your location, though some think that it shows up when there's nobody in your area who has been playing a Vita. _________________

Well, hopefully Sony release a System Update real soon. I really would live to use this feature. _________________ Always Outnumbered Never Outgunned.

Well, it turns out that it does work. You just have to try it in different places. Near can't detect my location at home, but I've tried using the free Wi-Fi at 3 different McDonalds stores, and it works quite well. It finds my location and downloads data, and I've even received a few Game Goods. Hungry Jacks' Wi-Fi also works very well. If you have an iPhone 4 or 4S, you can create your own Wi-Fi hotspot when you're out and about, but if you don't, then just try to use any Wi-Fi network you can get access to. It will work.
With the Wi-Fi Vita consoles, they use the IP address of the Wi-Fi network you connect to in order to detect your location. If that location is not in Sony's database, then you will not receive any location data. This is a lot less accurate than the 3G consoles of course. _________________

Mmm, lucky it worked out for you mate
I did try a local McDonalds. I got the same result.
I got the Wi-Fi model. I do have a iPhone 4. However having trouble getting that paired with my Vita.
Wish it would just work at home. Thanks for the tips mate! _________________ Always Outnumbered Never Outgunned.
