Downloading the PC demo, so I'd be up for multiplayer if anyone wants. I'll most likely only play the multiplayer part of it, as I haven't finished ME2.

how does that art book compare to the original "The Art of Mass Effect" book?
i've just ordered that "universe" one (well, a few weeks ago now) but i see that Thorian image is what's in the original, different page layout though, so kinda worried i've just wasted $20 getting something i already have, with a different cover.
surely "universe" will got into some of ME2 and ME3, right? right? _________________

I don't have a hard copy of the original book, but I do have it on my computer. Has new art not in that book, though also some repeated.
It's categorised by game, so each chapter is devoted to all things ME1, ME2 and ME3. Lots of environment, character and equipment art across the entire trilogy. Very clean high resolution printing. Not a lot of annotation, juts brief blurbs on each page, so its more for the art and less the text.
Just avoid the ME3 chapter unless you want everything spoiled. _________________

awesome - it's what i assumed it'd be when i ordered it then. i don't really know why i started worrying, cos it makes sense for the Thorian, at the very least, to be in another art book of this world.
nice that they split them into games too - i've been (mostly) on blackout for this game, but did play the demo so have had a few things "spoiled" (though not much i didn't already assume - but they were spoilers nonetheless). _________________

In conclusion, this game has not let the series down. Opinion will differ with the actual story, but with the amount of different options available in the game, that is bound to happen. It just can't be stressed enough that this game will only give half the pleasure if it is played without prior Mass Effect experience.
