Going on day 4 with no internet.... I ring telstra and now they don't have a ETR which im assuming is estimated time of repair. So right now im pissed arghhhh

Just a update on that situation i just rang up and now they are saying Monday 20th by 7pm.... that will make it 6 days without internet im not crazy its the internet thats crazy

Goddammit I was going to go to the free MSO concert tonight with a bunch of friends, so I rearranged my entire weekend to make it work (and inconvenienced my students, too). Then every single one of those friends flaked. Even my boyfriend. Those things are no fun alone, so I guess I'm at home doing nothing tonight.

I have been working really hard to ensure I do well at uni all Trimester, but a few days before the exam it is like my brain has just given up. I'm so beyond exhausted that I can't make myself study - I get the books and papers out and just stare at them. This is very frustrating.

Nah, just do what I do.

Worry about it for weeks, call yourself all kinds of names, doubt your own abilities, don't bother to actually truly prepare.

Then get in there, get over it once you see the time limit, and smash it.

I wish i understood women

Cutting a long story short i've been seeing someone since around September, we usually get along very well, have identical personalities and such. Things had been going very well, but from the middle of January i started noticing a few differences in her attitude (in general, not just with me). I bottled up my feelings and kept on plodding along, but things didn't improve, from early February i started asking her if everything was alright (showing how insecure i am!), can talk to me about anything, if there's a problem between us, let me know so i can try to address and fix it.

There has not been much improvement 2 weeks on. I don't mean to be putting pressure on her, but i am sure that there is something more than what she has told me. I learned something that explained her attitude over the last week and a half, but again did not FULLY address my suspicions of something being wrong (or at least different) between us since the middle of January. Her time line of events don't match up with mine!

She see's me as irreplaceable, doesn't want to lose me, i mean too much to her etc. I should take things as they are, however not everything is simple even if it is in black and white and right in front of you. Either she's afraid i'm going to abandon her (BEFORE she had the chance to abandon me),

Everyone else i have asked has said that i am seeing things that just arn't there, being paranoid etc. I've just been trying to prepare myself for a situation where things DO indeed turn ugly (which i have probably set in motion myself for being so paranoid). This whole thing started because i did not want to stay silent and take the "wait and see" or "whatever happens, happens" approach.

If the relationship has run its course.... then so be it. I did tell her that i'll be whatever she wants me to be, she just has to let me know what it is.

Now I have 2 pamphlets - one about Armageddon and the other about the Dangers of FaceBook.

These guys were nice enough though that I didn't want to insult them by pointing to the sign I put up that was meant to defend me from these door knocks.

I hope i'm now not marked back on the list for 'frequent' door knocks. Might have to do the same thing that me and my old housemate did to scare off the last 2 - by the 2 of us opening the front store stark naked.

Also the new imageshack, I always used them cause it didn't require registration or anything, just a quick upload and get the picture no hassles, now they want an e-mail address before they let you see the picture you uploaded.
