Went to try and renew my flickr yesterday but for some reason it wouldn't go through. Fine, I thought. Don't take my money, Yahoo.

So I thought I would look at 500px instead. It's a pretty slick site. The quality of what people put up is way better than the usual stuff you see on flickr. the downfall is you really feel like none of your work deserves to be posted up with theirs.. Anyone else have a 500px?

I've got a 500, but as you've all said the quality on there sits between TOP SHELF and ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.

It's definately intimidating. I only put up my very favorite shots and even then I always hesitate to post up due to the awe inspiring work by others on there.

Still... gotta start somewhere icon_smile.gif

on the 2nd half of the page, it has two tabs, the first is highlights, but if you press features, it will show you via a table what the differences are.

Doesn't seem to be many limits so far, it just restricts the options you have, the main ones being access to the 500px community (which I assume is same as groups on flickr), and google analytics. Then there are more advanced features like choosing the theme for your portfolio etc etc.

As a free account, you can only upload 20 images a week, which is fine for me since I upload maybe 3/4 a fortnight anyway.
