Is anyone else as excited for Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy as me? I cannot wait! I'm hoping and hoping for a US release, but if it doesn't happen then I will just buy a JP 3DS and the JP version of the game.

I love me some rhythm games and adore FF music/OSTs, so this game is literally a dream come true. I really like the art style of the game, and the segments from the original games look too awesome. As you can tell, I absolutely giddy over this game.

The game features ~5 songs from each Final Fantasy game from I to XIII (not including spin offs), and includes Cosmo Canyon which makes for a happy Charly.

Quality of the second video, isn't the best. But, it shows that the menus and game generally seem rather import friendly.

This is my most anticipated game of 2012 (I'm hoping).

Not sure if like. I mean, I like some metal, and I like the chocobo theme, but i'm not sure the two quite work together.

EDIT: Like this one a bit more.

Heh, the one I posted was for riding corrupted chocobos. The one above is for casino chocobo racing.

They only play that when you ride the aggressive chocobos.

Omg this could be amazing, sold on the FF8 dance scene alone.

I haven't played other FFs so I'm not familiar with the music, but it being a rhythm game I want it for sure (I bought every rhythm game I could find on DS). I'm not sure if I would go to the extent of buying a JP 3DS though, since I already have a US one and a PAL one. It depends how many rhythm and Nikoli-style puzzle games come out in Japan and not here.

Just a quick note for those interested in rhythm games. Sequence is 50% at Steam today, which is a rpg/rhythm hybrid game.

Pretty keen for this as I'm a big fan of FF music and rhythm games. Just a bit disappointed with the character design (an obvious tie-in to the Square-Enix merch with the same design). There seems to be a really good selection of songs though and I think there's also DLC songs as well?

This looks like a lot of fun, so fingers crossed it makes it to PAL.
