Yeah, if actual research was done, the article would have stated about 30% of all introduced laws go to an inquiry, so that's fairly standard parliamentary stuff. Inquiries are also not a particularly long thing.
And also if research was done rather than quoting other websites, you'd know that material that has been appealed and reclassified as refused classification will never see the light of day in Australia unless they introduce a special clause to the law for material classified before the introduction of new ratings. The articles quoted do not make that clear in any way, shape, or form, and would have benefited from contacting the Attorney General's office.
Just sayin'. _________________

But Goober, adding "Journalist" to Roland's resume isn't going to write itself. _________________

Credit where credit's due, Roland, this is the one thing you have done well at PalGN. Thanks for your work on the campaign.
Doesn't excuse all the other stuff, of course.

"The PALGN community lead the R18+ charge..."
Is there even a community any more? Isn't it just a touch self-serving to describe one person (i.e. yourself) as a community, especially at a time when so many people in the broader community actually question your credibility and integrity? Doesn't this effectively serve as grandstanding for a cause that is bigger than one person and more important than rebuilding your reputation?
Wouldn't you be better off keeping a low profile rather than establishing yourself as the spearhead and giving detractors/undecided supporters of the legislation any excuse for choosing a more conservative approach?
In short, could you please just keep quiet? As a gamer and a member of an actual community, I don't want you representing me or claiming to speak on my behalf.

Who fucking cares? He could have more of an insight to this whole situation than you do, and at least his post is more fucking worthy of being here than half of your trolling posts.

As owner, Roland would be getting the advertising revenue from the site and therefore is paid too. _________________

no, unless they install some sort of new appeal structure, but you'd probably find most RC games would remain RC even if they could appeal again....and most just wouldn't anyway. _________________ kill, kill, kill.....the white man. Kill the white man, kill

Why does the blog simply end at 11/24/2010? It should have followed the bill and progression through Parliament.
It is kind of funny that the site still urges you to sign a petition though ;D _________________
