You'll get one off an enemy just before the end boss.
Unfortunately, it rendered pretty much everything I had custom crafted completely redundant. I'd spent quite a while collecting components, crafting the perfect selection Epic, Armour, and Utility gems, and forging a kickass set of armour with some game-breaking stats. Looked completely badass, bumped my defence up to 1200-ish, 1600 health, and then... that complete set dropped, and when fully equipped the bonuses were better than the ones I'd spent the entire game working toward. LE SIGH.
Anyway, what a goddamn boring piece of crap that game was. The only thing that made it halfway tolerable was an excessive amount of booze. It reminded me of Borderlands; boring as fuck when you play it alone, but an absolutely stellar multiplayer game. Except KoA:R doesn't have multiplayer. Complete cop-out, really. Could have made it one of the best co-op games since... well, Borderlands.
Completed every main and 'guild' quest, about fifty sidequests, got all achievements bar five or six, and wasted a good 35 hours waiting for the game to redeem itself. It never did. I am disappoint. _________________

About 10 hours in now. What is with the broken loot in this game? The point of a loot driven game is better stuff but I seem to stick with the same stuff for hours and hours. Combat seems to be getting less entertaining as they just take longer. Visually hasn't improved. Hell at times it looks like a early 360 games especially when the game deals with distances. The music is really grating. I dislike quick traveling to a spot, then hearing the start of that dam song again.
I'm proballly coming down more negative then what I feel, but the game besides the combat (which is becoming less and less satisfying) doesn't really do anything particularly well.

This is what combat is like for me. Kite everyone until they are somewhat grouped together. Mark of Flame. Mark of Flame detonate. All dead.
Been doing this for 30 levels now. Now I just use Meteor.
And yeah, the music is one of the biggest annoyances of this game. There's like 8 tracks. I just turn it off and just play my own in the background.
