It's the naked bit that bugs me the most, I mean fuck, we won't go to places on our own planet without protective suits, let alone a completely foreign environment.
Hell there is pretty much no chance that our world wouldn't kill them in some way. _________________

I can't believe I'm going to be this nerdy, but....
He may suffer from the delusion he's not a toy, but that would not stop what he is being automatic. For example, a nutjob (to use the technical term) may think he's a suitcase, and suitcases don't need to drink, but if he doens't drink he still dies.
A park that a) is not yet open, and b) can only be reached by sair or sea does not need them. Plus, you know, trespassers would be eaten.
But they do see the future, that is the future when they see it. That causality, however, is interrupted, but only after they have seen it. Take that space time continiumiumiumium.

The movies repeatedly show that the whole freezing function is a willfull action not a hard wired physical response, they sneakily open there eyes, move behind peoples backs and there's the whole attack on Cid. If it was a hardwired self deference mechanism similar to the weeping angels in Dr Who then none of these things would be possible. _________________

I don't think it does. It shows that it's an automatic reaction, that can be overcome, which is different. Beside which, anyone whose had anything to do with people who're delusional see that the sufferer will conjure up any excuse they need to keep their illusions in place.
For exmaple, Tony Abbott still think he's in with a chance of being Prime Minister.

MIkes/Benza, theres a problem I have with the Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban movie/novel.
I seriously don't know how it's possible to be saved by your future self, I mean it's just not possible as you had to survive the very first time in order to live long enough to go back in time and save yourself. Someone else had to be the initial savior to allow the loop to happen.

My view is all politicians are lying, cheating bastards who would sell their own grandmothers if they thought it would profit them in some way, until they prove otherwise. Of the current crop I have little confidence in Labor, but zero in the Libs. Less than zero.

That's always something that's bothered me about the time continiuimiumiumium too. But it's a handy story telling device, and HPATPOA was a kids book. or the last of the HP books that were proper kids books, anyway.

As a devoted DB fan for over 15 years, that video was depressing. _________________

Unless time is cyclical and there is no 'first' time. _________________
