Assassin's Creed III Coming In October

Ubisoft today confirmed when it will release Assassin's Creed III this fall.

The game will arrive on October 30, 2012, the publisher said. No other details were announced.

"We will push the title a lot because it's a fantastic product that the team has been working for three years," said CEO Yves Guillemot. "What we have seen is just fabulous."

Ubisoft also said it shipped 7 million copies of Assassin's Creed Revelations so far through December 2011.

There's DLC inbound for revelations too, more Desmond platforming.

Brotherhood would also be the B team too.

Man I hope this actually wraps up the story. I don't think I want to buy another 3 AC games...

From memory Brotherhood was the same team as two, brotherhood and two were originaly going to be one game but got split into two when there idea's for rome got too big, Patrice Desslete led the development untill he left so that by the time he'd left it was basically just up to the team to follow his notes for what the game was going to be.

Also it's been confirmed that it's going to wrap up atleast this part of the story in 3.

"Desilets"

I'll buy this (and Anno 2070) when Ubisoft change their ridiculous stance on PC DRM.

The uncut animated Revelations ad. Figure may as well post here rather then searching for the revelations thread.

Yosh, I'm so behind in the series. I haven't played Brotherhood or Rev. I'm not sure I'm excited for III at all since Ubi has flooded the market with AC content icon_sad.gif

You can probably just catch up with them by watching the cut scenes on youtube. You'd only really need to see the Desmond ones.
Might be a good idea on Ubisoft's part to make a DVD/Bonus catching people up on the actual important events that take place in Brotherhood and Revelations.

well the intro for... I think brotherhood recapped over all the important parts from the last two games. So I don't see why they can't just do that.

yeah i loved both Brotherhood and Revelations too.

i was incredibly skeptical when Brotherhood was announced, but since i really enjoyed AC and AC2 i took the risk, and was pleasantly surprised how complete it felt.

I thought ACR was a little undercooked compared to ACB, but still no major complaints there either.

I REALLY like the concept art of Connor one leg kneeling on the stones with the American flag behind him, I feel it is the PERFECT cover for the game just like AC2's cover. I can't understand why they wana change it to the new one of him axeing a dude.

Pre-ordered this game and was one of the gamers who have laid first hands on. while it is entertaining especially for AC fans who have played the previous iterations, the 3rd seems to be lacking something to impress those who have been expecting a lot from it.

I cannot wait to play this game. I really enjoyed the other games in the series. It's interesting to read the novels based on the games as well, which I recommend any fans of the series to read.

Because of Ezio's story arc from Assassin's Creed II through to Assassin's Creed Embers (animated short film) I really feel attached to the character considering the fact as a player you're practically with him since his birth in ACII.

One of my concerns with ACIII was whether or not I could feel an attachment to Connor, the new Assassin, in a similar way to Ezio. So far I have liked what I have seen and heard of this character from the trailers and I look forward to finding out his part in the overall story arc and how that plays into Desmond's storyline.

Wishlist: - Go back to the Brotherhood graphics. The character models in Revelations were horrifying. - Make it lengthy. II length or GTFO. - Don't add stuff just to add it. Den Defense, Desmond Missions, bombs, just meaningless, unnecessary add ons.
