Asking people to simply get over it will not work. Does a conflict just stops? No, there are the "healing" stage and then there are those that will never forgive. I don't blame people for the outburst, stuff happens.

There appears to be a mis-communication BOTH side and due to this mis-communication. Owner keeping staff in the dark, staff upset, community backed staff which are part of the community.

This event is unfortunate but it is a classic case of a communication breakdown which happened for years and was overlooked.

Pastebin still does not tell the full story, interpret it whatever way you want, I have my views also from IRC when staff wants to communicate with the owner and is given the silence treatment for too long.

I do try and avoid jumping on the bandwagon if I can but I cannot stand some people who are "do as I say, don't do as I do" (this affect only a very few individual). I don't think all these events were intention by both sides and if you are not aware by now, there has been a lot of silence treatments in the past and this had no doubt contributed.

Events like Ob's removal of staff silently, I feel for him. I had the same thing happened to me, this feeling of being betrayed may leave a bitter taste. I'm surprised Obs is still around

Jason, I like how all of a sudden when yours and Rolands reputation starts getting affected (Even more so) you come in here telling everyone to start acting like adults.

No point telling you how to run the site though, after all it is Rolands. But as long as you guys don't mind 80+% of the people that actually make the site function going off to do their own thing.

lets not beat around the bush; the past moderation team on this forum have been for twatty and hence then limited posts I make these days. I really don't care. As for this whole "PALGN" has gone down the toilet comments;

well, the front end - the website; I don't think anyone ever really visits. Hence I'm really not surprised not more attention is given to it by the current owners. The forum is what drives it and hence all "the drama" - its the same old few regulars posting; their outrage and what not.

Poor behaviour from all involved in the "forum dramas + bannings" is wholely unsurprising.


btw leaking emails and trying to embarrass the site owner who still currently pays for the server so I can actually use the forum (still) is just pilthy behaviour for those involved.

After reading more, it seems like there has been a lot of editing and post deletions as well making me harder to understand the open letter
