You'll see the major retailers losing ****loads of money on the units (cost price for the Wi-Fi model is around $330, can't remember 3G) in an attempt to undercut the competition and make the difference back on the accessories and games.

I'll be happy for anything close to $300. I just hope my local K-Mart/Target/Big W actually get the damn thing in-stock on the day I'd hate to have to go begging at GAME for one...

I pre-ordered the PS Vita 3G today however did not get a memory card because the 32GB is not available.

From which site can I import it from. Amazon will not ship it here.

Vodaphone is offering Vita on an (overpriced?) Plan:

Postpaid: $55 per month ($40 per month for the PS Vita 3G/Wi-Fi and $15 mobile broadband plan) over 12 months (total minimum cost is $660) with 1.5GB data and bonus 4GB Memory card.
Prepaid: $419 for the PS Vita 3G/Wi-Fi with 200MB of data and bonus 4GB Memory card.

Would anybody really want 3G support anyway, like iPhone etc have Wifi hotspot support....

Seems pretty crazy to a) pay loads more for the unit and b) a data plan

The Postpaid deal is terrible, but the pre-paid one isn't too bad. The 3G unit has an RRP of $419 after all.

As for this potential launch week price-drop, I bet none of them would throw in a free game like GAME are.

Had a look on eBay for a 32GB card. Not sure which one to trust. Scared for fakes.

Anyhow, wll search again later tonight.

superufo. Hong kong based. Truckload of good experiences via them for the 32gb cards with the guys @ whirlpool forums.
