Hey guys, just wondering if anyone else struggles to stay awake when playing their portable consoles?
I just recently picked back up a 3DS, and yeah have noticed its a good way to make myself really tired, which is frustrating when I actually want to have a solid gaming session.
Anyone else get this? _________________ http://bencadphotography.com/

I used to fall asleep playing portable systems, then I took an iPad to the knee.

If you're getting really tired and starting to fall asleep, isn't that your body trying to tell you to go to bed?
EDIT:
Wait, I remember a sleep therapist telling me that your body (should) recognise your bed as a place for sleeping. Perhaps you should play portable games on the lounge instead? _________________

The only game that has made me fall asleep is Final Fantasy 12. Because you didn't actually do anything in combat, due to the fact that you scripted the battles beforehand. =\
I used to hold up on the stick, take a nap and wake up to lots of slaughter and experience (or whatever the equivalent was, I didn't care. It was a bad game).

I think Esposch is right about this. You need to find a different spot to play the game. I remember watching the tv at midday on my bed and i really wanted to watch this show and bang i was asleep in 10 mins hahah. I was pissed... _________________

Shadow you're probably giving yourself eye strain. Try adjusting how you're sitting (up straight), your distance to the screen (similar to a book or monitor) and possibly turn 3D off. _________________

Sit me down in front of any type of console for about an hour and i am off to nigh nighs....I believe i have walked into walls looking at the sky or ground in practically every fps made....Did it yesterday playing rage, looks like i turned around and went back to subway town without completing a mission i had just driven to while i was asleep also, I'm an fps somnambulist.
I fall asleep on the ipad every other day, I'm waiting for me to make the comment hgfugfnep87e77er77rghgr7grhhbdjsdjkdj on here or reddit. _________________ kill, kill, kill.....the white man. Kill the white man, kill

Vita screen is way too bright. No sleeping through that. _________________ Host on Australian gaming TV show Level 3
