The Gamer Dungeon hate is getting pretty old.
You're not a 'customer' in the traditional sense. There is no financial investment or risk of loss on your end. You are a casual observer using a free resources with no strings attached. Honestly, you're not 'entitled' to anything at all. Nobody here is. You might be concerned, and want to know, but that's where it begins and ends.
And that's why this attitude is annoying. Satisfying curiosity is all this is, when you boil down to it. People are, understandably, curious as to what is going on behind the scenes, and I can understand that. But it's still just curiosity, and nobody is truly 'entitled' to a full disclosure or even a response at all.
As Jeremy said, we weren't being hush hush on the situation for no reason, but because we didn't really have any definitive answers to give people and were in the process of working things out. Could we develop stronger publisher connections, or would they weaken? Could we work something out with Roland? What is the status of the server? Who is leaving, who isn't? What's for dinner? We had many unanswered questions of our own, and there was no point making a huge, public update of "well thing's are confusing right now so yeah?", especially given (again as Jeremy said) stuff like dealing with publishers, and even dealing with Roland, were private, behind-the-scenes matters that had no place being made public, because all parties expect and appreciate a certain degree of confidentiality.
And that's what it all comes down to; confidentiality. As I said, you wouldn't be happy if a private conversation you had was made public. Maybe you were talking about a friend or family member, your concerns and frustrations. Maybe you were planning a surprise birthday party. You could be talking about anything, via text, MSN, or on the phone, and if you're doing it privately you expect it to be private. This is the same thing. We did it privately, and expected staff to respect that privacy.
If Fetid's posts are anything to go by whoever did it is feeling guilty about the situation and didn't expect this kind of response, so at least that's something. I can forgive if the guilt and apology is genuine, but I'm always going to be pretty damn disappointed this happened.

What writer is it? I like this new site they are really quick with news. Not having to wait a whole week for one measly news article like what palgn has become

FalconDude is on a roll with banning people in the middle of transactions or exchanges! What, Thundercurls, Jedi_Amara, me, jp and now you! Haha.
On a side note... this is just my opinion anyway, but what is the point of this topic? I mean, it probably shouldn't have been posted because it just gave casual PALGN users like me direct access to what was "leaked" or whatever. And to see first-hand the dramas that the wider community doesn't need. I just want PALGN to be like what is was when I joined a year ago.
