So, I've posted this around a few different communities, though I'm not so sure anyone here will appreciate this sort of thing.
Basically, I'm into Warhammer. The actual miniature gaming. I only recently got back into it having come into financial independence because, let's face it, this hobby is expensive.
Basically, I've turned the following...
Bretonnian Pegasus Knight
Into this...
Apologies for the poor image quality; the work isn't quite complete (gotta do the basing and some minor touch-ups) before I go at it with the proper camera. _________________

I used to Warhammer when I was young and silly. Then it took them several years to make a Tomb Kings army book, and about 10 to make a new 40K Orks codex.
And a quick Wiki indicates it's just as bad for Fantasy and 40K as it has been. They kept on inflating prices and reducing support (to the point where White Dwarf was basically a "how to boardgame" around 2004/2005) so I decided I have better things to spend time and money on. _________________

GW games are offensively expensive, but still the most comprehensive/detailled/interesting scifi universe for minis. Most people still in it buy their stuff either second hand or from overseas. Theres a good community as wargamerau.com/forums who do fair trading between themselves etc. _________________
