Looks like most of the UK sites put The Last Story up for preorder in the last couple of days, ozgameshop seems to be cheapest for the limited ed at $60. Worth redeeming my player points for a $10 off on that? _________________

Its part of GAMES 3 for 2 sale NEW. Pick it up with a couple of $40 used games and effectively pay $37 each for the three. |
This sale advertised online or anywhere else other than in store?

Just ordered Collectors Edition of TiTs for my partner from Amazon and pre-ordered Grand Knights History. Her PSP RPG backlog grows +2!

ZOMG FINISHED RADIANT HISTORIA!!!
Total time: ~45 hours.
Wow, the ending, despite having no | Quote: | | anime cutscenes, no FMV |
was so beautiful. Especially the | Quote: | | surprise at the end |
(damn youtube commenter for spoiling that for me... well at least | Quote: | | because of that spoiler I knew which turn to use the 'guard' command to avoid instant party KO). |
I mean... everything ended up being pretty JRPG cliche but the characters were developed so well that everything felt right. The final boss music was also one of my favourite pieces from Yoko. Anyhow I'm going to try and do the remaining 63 nodes to see if I can get a better ending by 100%ing the game but I feel pretty satisfied.
So yeah 9/10 from me and what the hell are you guys who don't already have it doing =p _________________

I ended up buying a copy a little while ago, but it's sitting in my backlog like so many other things.
So many good Feb and March releases too. :S

I really want Radiant Historia but I can't find it anywhere for a decent price. It's on the list though :'). _________________

I can't believe both printings sold out so quickly and they didn't do another run If I'd known, I would have picked up a few copies in the States last year for people! _________________

Now do you see why it was my favourite game on the DS. Which surprise at the end do you mean, because you said you didn't get the secret ending that plays when you unlock all the nodes.
| OropherX wrote: | | The final boss music was also one of my favourite pieces from Yoko |
That why I didn't post the final boss music in this thread earlier when we were talking about the music, it's just that awesome and I didn't want to spoil it for you.
God I see what you guys mean by the price of Radiant Historia, I mean look at this guy, he's dreaming. But in all serious I would pay about $100 for this game I loved it so much, just not $1000.

Damn youtube commenters, because of them I found just about all the spoilers / plot twists in Xenoblade apart from
Spoilers | Quote: | | humans being the metal faces, as someone in colony 9 mentions that Xord was her father |
Also finished Dragon Quest V on the DS and it was a good game, and so much better than number IV that it's not cool. I don't even know what it was, maybe it just that the game was so thought out so well that it just felt right.
Speaking of the DS, has anyone here played 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors. Because some of those ending in the game are screwed up. I haven't finish it yet so some of the plot holes might be solved after I play it more. But damn it's intriguing.
Cause I'm too lazy to write another post I'm going to ask if anyone know with ozgameshop. As their games are brand new if you were to buy White Knight Chronicles 2 or Uncharted 3, would it come with the code that allows you to play online or would you have to buy it off the PSN store. _________________ Currently Playing : Atelier Iris 2 (PS2), Xenoblade Chronicles (Wii), Legend of Heroes : Trails of the Sky (PSP), 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors (DS) and Final Fantasy XIII (PS3)

The games arrive in their original seal.
For example, my Battlefield 3 and Uncharted 3 arrived with online passes.

^ Do those codes work on the Aussie PSN? OzGameShop always sends me UK and US versions of games and I never bothered trying any codes because I assumed they would not work. _________________

My Uncharted 3 and Battlefield 3 online pass worked for my Australian psn account ordered from ozgameshop. If it didn't work i would easily create a uk account or usa account and validate it that way but i didn't have to. _________________

As above.
I've never had a problem with using UK codes on my Australian account, and creating accounts for other regions is easy enough anyway.

I bought White Knight Chronicles 2 and Ico and SotC collection from the UK. Both came with codes and worked fine on my Australian PSN account.

Gust may have been bought by Tecmo Koei, but they're still keeping the good games coming! They're showing off the first batch of screenshots and artwork of their upcoming PS Vita exclusive Ciel no Sourge: Ushinawareta Hoshi e Sasagu Uta (Surge Concerto: A Song for a Lost Star), which will be released in Japan on April the 26th. The artwork looks gorgeous, and from reading the info that has been released so far, it looks and sounds like a spiritual successor to the Ar Tonelico series.
| Quote: | The game has been defined by Famitsu as a “Real Time Life Simulation” and will come with online features. It’s part of a new multiplatform franchise, despite the fact that this first episode will be exclusively on PS Vita.
Ciel no Surge: Song of the Lost Star’s Offering is not part of the Ar tonelico series, but the way you interact with Ionasol (shortened to "Ion" in the game) is a lot like diving into her mind.
Ciel No Surge, Gusts PlayStation Vita Game, Has You "Dive" Into Ionasol
Ion is a mysterious girl with amnesia. It’s your job to awaken her memories by connecting Ion to terminals and entering her mind. Inside you’ll see a broken world and repair points which you can mend together by using the power of Ciel. Fix these and you can restore Ion’s memories. Does any of this sound familiar? It might be because the director of the Surge Concerto games is also the director of the Ar Tonelico series.
Ciel no Surge plays like a communication game when Ion isn’t hooked up to a machine. You can interact with Ion while she lives her everyday life.
Ciel no Surge is the first work in the Surge Concerto series. Gust plans on expanding this franchise into a variety of media beyond video games. Future games will be based around the same world setting.
The story of Surge Concerto begins with a solar system with a swelling sun. La Ciel’s residents have two plans to deal with this impending crisis. A group (loosely translated as) the Astronomers are developing a plan to teleport residents to another planet. Meanwhile, a Terrestrial group wants to save the solar system by harnessing the power of song magic. Public opinion is split between the two groups and the fate of the world falls on the president-elect… Ionasol. |
I'm not sure if it's an RPG or not, but it sounds pretty interesting. _________________
