In retrospect I had that ban coming. No hard feelings about it stormo.
I don't think we're ever gonna be best friends or anything, but fuck man that stuff was years ago. Water under the bridge as far as I'm concerned. _________________

Man, you haven't read enough of my posts and it doesn't seem that you are reading what I am saying here. If it was an isolated case, yeah, you would be right. As I've pointed out though, it was a common occurance.
| Frozencry wrote: | | And ****, know what else is wonderful? You try and shoot me down about the Dark Souls Petition on PC on my own twitter over a week after that whole Skyrim thing. I didn't reply, because I don't give a ****. I also don't hold grudges. |
You mean where I said "This petition is ridiculous because I have no interest in Dark Souls on PC"?
That was a light-hearted dig, surely you saw the irony?

I have absolutely no problem with differing personalities and opinions. I enjoy seeing things from different perspectives, and as they say, variety is the spice of life. If you read what I am saying, it is a basic lack of respect for fellow forum members and argumentative behaviour that I have an issue with. It is possible to respectfully disagree with someone's opinion.

Funny that, I only remember the bitch about *mod edit to remove obscenity* thread that Benza didn't start. _________________

If you had access to the mature forums then you should know that I'm certainly no kind of fucking ring leader.
| Quote: | | Without wanting to speak on behalf of anyone else, my response to this kind of attitude is: you may be happy with that kind of daily experience, but does it enter your mind that other people might not be? |
That's why I specifically said that I wasn't going to do it with you. After that skyrim argument you tried to start something with me in the what ticks you off thread or something and I specifically told you I wasn't going to get into it because you take this shit too personally. My point is I've known storm for a long time. I know that he isn't going to get too upset over anything I say.
When I said the stuff in the Skyrim thread I had no fucking idea you would take it this bad. If I had I would have stayed the hell away from it. Believe it or not I don't sit around in my spare time going "Shit how can I piss this random internet guy off" Wich is why I made a point of not engaging you in a future argument.
I enjoy a good argument or debate. But with you it turns into this kind of hate filled pissing match that ends up with you tracking down photos of me to write 'internet tough guy' over them.
You argue that you're against the kind of disrespect that I show, I've never once tried to make any argument we've had personal. You're the one that has gone onto another forum and slagged me out, you're the one that has tracked down photos of me, you're the one that kept sending me PM's after I made it clear that I didn't want to continue the argument, you're the one accusing me of getting together to plan character assassinations, you're the one accusing the people that I consider freinds of being nothing but groupies, you're the one that will not let this shit die.
I can be an arrogant son of a bitch and I'm not saying I had no part in this whole thing. I'm not blame free. But jesus christ man, you're the one being a massive dick over the entire thing. _________________

^Possibly it's time to take it to the PM system?
Just found out I do indeed have internet to my place, got a bit worried when the online connection system told me I can't have either ADSL, ADSL2+ or cable and was going to have to be on mobile. My regional exchange only has a Telstra DSLAM so my choices are limited.
Since my exchange is considered regional, am I a country person ? (foot of the mountain girl sounds better for some reason). I will be living across the road from a school that has cows and the area has a lot of heritage building.
Edit - nothing changed, just proof-reading (lazy day for me today, it's sunny and I just want to go out and have ice-cream ) _________________ "Work hard now, play even harder later"

From my experience with the online connection system they are pretty much useless. I checked to see if i can get adsl 2+ and it said yep go ahead got super excited, once i moved in bang harsh reality hits and get told i can only get adsl. 2 months later after applying every 3 days i got adsl 1. I really wish we had a better system to check to see if you can get online other then moving in and hoping for the best. _________________

^^Bummer. Hopefully this system Telstra shop has is trustworthy. I work just above from a Telstra shop so if something is wrong, down the lift I go!

I find that offensive. I(as most others here) come up with my own opinions thanks, just because they may be similar to Benza on certain topics hardly means I'm a 'Groupie'. _________________

We got Matt Damon on the front page of KotakAU.
We didn't win any category at the Game Jam, but no one else got Matt Damon on the front page of KotakAU so that was weekend success for me. |
And now we've technically done it twice as the Matt Damon screenshot is being used as the titlepic for the collected articles.
Great success! High five! _________________

^ Thank you! <3
AmazonUK have just sent a replacement shipment for the books that arrived today all water damaged and dinged up (which I complained about in the 'What really ticks you off?' thread. They have sent it free of charge, with super fast shipping, and I do not need to return the damaged items. So nice of them. _________________

Mentioned a couple of weeks ago how I'm transferring to a new home loan, received the loan contract documents on Friday, and the interest rate was incorrect. Gave them a call immediately and was told I'd get a call back, still hadn't received a call today so I contacted them again... Turns out they'll now be waiving the transfer fee(~$500 fee for going from one loan to another) as compensation. Pretty chuffed with that completely unexpected result. _________________

Are you borrowing less than $200k? Or transferring from another bank to them?
I redid my homeloan last year. I only had to borrow an extra $20k to get around the transfer/application fee. Of course I dumped the spare $20k straight back into the loan, so there was zero cost. The reorganisation to a lower rate homeloan with more features cost me nothing but the time to organise it.
Point of the story - I'm not sure why you were paying the transfer fee anyway. _________________

I already had my loan with Bankwest, I had one of those loans that has a high discount for the first 3 years of the loan and then reverts to a crappy loan with a high interest rate after the period expires. Rather than let that happen I thought I'd transfer to a better loan with a much lower rate. Since my loan is already with bankwest the only applicable fee was the $495 transfer fee for changing loan products and I'll make that back within 3-4 months on the lower interest rate. I don't have to borrow any extra on the loan etc.
If I was switching banks I'd have to pay exit fees for my old loan, and then pay an application fee for the new lending.
So now I'll be switching to a loan with a lower interest rate with the same borrowings, and it isn't costing me a cent. _________________
