So far there seems to be no hint of a potential capability of using Steam Mobile to purchase games for your device, probably due to tricky terms of service rules dealing with competition. In the meantime though, it’s still pretty darn convenient. |
It doesn't seem to be available on our Apple App Store yet though.

It is on the Aussie app store, it's just buried in a bunch of 3rd party junk. Search for "steam valve corporation". It should be the first hit, published by Valve Corporation.
I've downloaded it and now I'm waiting for an invite =P

Got accepted to use the app today.
Shadow said he had trouble replying, so the messaging function might have a few issues still.

Wow, steam messaging can be handy to keep in touch with those that isn't on my Facebook but is on steam when I am on the go 
OMG, ability to buy games?!? this will be hazardous to my wallet!
