I'm sorry, but this is not a post complaining about how slow the site is. I'm actually curious to know if there will be PALGN awards this year? You know, cos they were fun and engaged the community, a positive experience etc.

What sort of awards?
There was a game-of-the-year thing published. I think we had a user's game of the year topic too. I haven't seen any PALGN user awards this year though - that's usually run by someone in the community, not the staff.

Yeah, the user awards that have happened in the past have been run by users/mods. I'm sure that if somebody wanted to put another one together and run it, all they'd need to do would be start a thread (and then actually follow through with the whole organising/running it part).
