I played Calamity Trigger when it came out, but didn't end up playing it very much. I'm keen to get back into fighting games this year, starting with this, KOF XIII and picking up SSFIV AE as well, but my experience is pretty limited so don't expect too much of a challenge

I own all those, but haven't really invested any time into them apart from BB. Not much of a fan of SFIV though.
Would like to get into KOF XIII, and what happened to those Arcana Heart 3 matches?

You'd still be able to wipe the floor with me, no doubt. I didn't even end up finding a main that I wanted to use. Street Fighter I get to an extent, but Blazblue was completely foreign to me and I struggled a lot to try and get used to it.

Cheers Lack of TV was preventing me from using the PS3, but I've got a couple of days of work this week. Once that's done I'll be blowing the money on a small TV, so I'll be able to fire up the PS3 again this week.

BBCS is the first fighter I've even attempted to be 'serious' about and I've only been playing competitively online since I joined this site. I was also learning how to play with an arcade stick at the same time, so you're not too far behind.
I improved a lot from constantly being owned by David/everyone but it wasn't too long before I picked up the basics.
I like to use characters that I'm not very good at playing as well, so I'll lay off my Noel and Rachel a bit.
Mind if I add you?

I grew up with SF and although I'm not very good at it, I understand the mechanics. Blazblue kinda felt like a souped up Guilty Gear, which is great as I like Guilty Gear, but it was just too much to get my head around at the time.
Definitely add me as I'm keen to get some matches going in the future

I've improved my Rachel a lot recently, I've always wanted to but was too lazy since she's a technical character.
I'll be quite happy when I get her combos down a bit better.

I've got 3 4000+ dmg combos with rachel atm, all with a dd though.
...and yay for corner carry combos! ;D
I was struggling to get in close to your Lambda though.

Make that 2 4000+ dmg combos, I just realised that one in Extend only does 2800 dmg. 
Not much luck in the tournament. It was also for Extend, which is pretty retarded, since it only gives the people running the tournament (ie best players) an advantage.
Had some awesome casual matches and met some local players though, so not all bad.
...met OropherX and Ciel in person too.

They actually weren't that amazing, I basically lost because I have far less experience in fighting games in general.
I was watching them play and thinking David's Mu > that guy's Mu, My Noel > that guy's Noel etc.
Can't wait until everyone gets Extend.

Didn't really know what to expect but I wasn't surprised when I met them.
It turns out I bought my Rachel figure from tamarket, which Ciel actually owns. I could stare at her all day.
