well iv pretty much remained silent on the matter all this time i will just say that i didn't reach out for the leaked doc and i can understand why you kept it out of sight but now that its out there - not much can be done now and like any sane person i read it ! not really surprised at all but disappointed to hear about luke from what i understood he was a top bloke and seemed to reposned to every message sent to him , i cant recall if it was luke or luke M but one of them did let out in there goodbye thread that they had done the wrong thing if i recall but yea that explains alot in regards to the way everything went parshaped marketing and what not speaking of which

yep - game.aus marketing tycoon ? this is a man that just spends all day looking at his divent ends marketing and sales - thats the guy who owns this site clearly he just holds on to things in hopes that it will make him ( rich ?) ether that or simply to put a name to his resume i mean hell he even had his foot in other ventures - they should fire that idiot they call our communications minster and put rolend on !

i have long suspected PALGN as a brand name being dead " as a BRAND NAME" what that means for everyone reading is have some trust in the left over staff members im not 100% on what dictates us all moving on but im srue that if you let them do there job we will progress somwere * looks at adams facebook link*

oh and for everyone else who cant speak out about this and since i have no face - i have but one thing to say

I'd like to put my hand up to try migrating the forum's DB to a newer version. I can't say I'd like to try saving the articles, if that pastebin doc is correct in the assessment of how heavily modified it is.

Heck I'm half tempted to set up a free Amazon VM and write a spider to copy out all the publicly readable content =P

it has been a good ten years bronze even if i wasint here for all of them id say maybe check out what some of the other big aussie sites are running on it could be an idea to reach out to them but the last time somone was reached out to it spelled out what we have here regradless i would think shopping would be best ....

Even though I'm not as involved in the community as some other people here, judging from that pastebin, the fate of palgn is unknown - it could be gone tomorrow (getting a tad dramatic, but who knows when server bills are supposed to be paid?)

If suddenly the site is gone, I don't really have any contact with anyone from the forums outside of the forums so that would kinda suck to be suddenly cut off from everyone - and I'm sure I'm not the only one that feels this way.

Hey fellas been a while since I chimed in regularly, but in response to Nick do we maybe want to use GamerDungeon http://www.gamerdungeon.com.au/ forums as a "Plan B" if we wake up and find PALGN gone? (Also liked that FB page) it would be a damn shame to have this community break up. Frankly I don't want to have to learn a whole new gang of "the usual idiots" elsewhere

I honestly feel like this site has had it's heyday, even if it does improve significantly from where it is now. I feel like we're trying far too hard to hang on to something that needs to die (or is I suppose), there comes a time when we just have to let go.

In other news it took me two 502 Proxy Errors and 15 minuites to post this. What a fudging joke. No smiley.
