I used Shulk/Reyn for 90% of my gem combines. Most of the time I was targeting a specific one or 2 gem outcome and they are the most efficient pair for that type of situation, not to mention the easiest to gain an affinity link. Generally, the rest of your party will bump you up to the required % level, if you have high affinity connections to them as well.

Getting back to this now, haven't been playing as much as I should thanks to other games getting my attention. Just got to Eryth Sea...so stunning. The fact that this isn't in HD makes it more impressive

I bet Operation Rainfall is celebrating thinking it was them that helped push it whereas it probably wasn't :/ Reggie probably still saw it as a risk so it's a GameStop exclusive there.

I think anyone who wanted to play Xenoblade Chronicles would have already imported it or played it on an emulator. It was a probably a wise move by NoA to limit it to a Gamestop exclusive. I suppose the sales will determine whether NoA will bring the rest of the games to NA.

If it was up to me I'd just leave it at 'Xenoblade' for all regions.

Made it to the top of Valak Mountain, pretty awesome way to get there with the ice sliding

Felt bloody good to get to that secret area with the level 90+ monsters, then jumping into the lakes to get back to the main map. The downside of exploring is that it's 2am now :/

I love that part going down that slide then flying across the map. Took me a few attempts to reach the vines.

Ahh, felt so good to beat Lorithia inside Bionis Interior. Was having a super hard time trying to find the right strategy because nothing seemed to work, kept getting my ass handed to me. My level was lower than the boss', but I didn't think Xenoblade's the type of game to make you grind too much. Going with this belief, I glanced at Melia, and that was a big EUREKA! moment. Shortly after I was finally able to beat the boss

Not far from the end now, hurray!
