Was tempted to get the stick, but a) My wallet will hate me (it already hates me as it is), b) I have way too many arcade sticks at home (3 PS3 and 1 XBOX360)

Decided to take a look at the Blazblue CS Extend stick, and I'm not too sure, but I could have sworn it jumped up in price. How much did you get yours for Stone?

I paid $173US, although I think the PS3 stick was always a bit cheaper than the 360.

I used it for about an hour when I first played Extend and it made me realise how badly my other Hori stick needs maintenance lol.

(I'm going off Play-Asia)

It seems the price has gone up a bit, the BBCS Extend stick is more expensive than the UMvC3 and I remember the PS3 versions being the same price.

That's something I'm thinking of, but I'll decide once I return from NZ.

On another note, I've been reading the dustloop forums and I've stumbled upon this

BlazBlue 3 will be coming soon!

Quote:
Toshimichi Mori wants to make Blazblue 3 This Year

Straight out of an exclusive interview with Japanese gaming magazine Gemaga, when asked what his goals for 2012 are, Blazblue producer Toshimichi Mori responded that he wants to make Blazblue 3.

This is a pretty big thing because it's not another subtitled update, but rather the next full blown sequel. As someone who follows these games not just for the fighting mechanics but the story as well, this is awesome news. I was concerned that Mori would be dragging out the spinoff novels and quasi-sequels. Continuum Shift Extend actually has a ton of new content from what I've played thus far, but I really want to see the next big step.

Immediately after revealing his desire to make the next game, Mori added that he wants to make an anime as well. While it seems he's half joking and half serious, he then went on to request that studios please contact him. I remember the first time I cleared Calamity Trigger's story mode, I found myself wishing that a studio would pick up the franchise. I think it'd work fantastically in animated form. A quick bit of a trivia that some of you might not be aware of, but Extend's upgraded Calamity Trigger story mode was worked on by visual novel studio Nitro Plus. Something for you VN lovers to look out for.

Sooo... apparently there's a nice package deal for North America with the release of Continuum Shift Extend.

The NA release includes:
- 40 page art book
- 17 song sound track
- 2012 calender
- cool box art icon_smile.gif

We Aussies get from the EB exclusive:
- artwork poster (NA box art cover)
- plot map
- graphic Novel
- art book (weather it's the same one as NA is getting or a cheap one is unknown) icon_sad.gif
- Official Soundtrack

I'm not sure if I should cancel my order with EB and just get the NA special edition or just stick with the EB one. The 40 page art book sounds super tempting, I hope it's the same one we're getting here with the EB edition. icon_confused.gif

That cover art actually came directly from the Japanese version, and it seems like we're getting it too. icon_smile.gif

144 page artbook icon_wink.gif, not exactly cheap though. Looks like it might include CS2.

Edit: P-A is cheaper than Ebay but there's some nice inside pictures here. It includes CS2 as well.

There'll also be more story than ever:

Quote:
BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend includes Remastered Stories from Calamity Trigger

Arc System Works has dropped a few details on what will be included in the story mode of BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend. The series is known for having a rich if convoluted plot that the player experiences through visual novel style cutscenes. Continuum Shift Extend will include all of the characters’ stories from the first BlazBlue game, Calamity Trigger.

All the scenes have been remastered so they’ll look even better than they did in the original game.

Furthermore, the story mode of CSE itself will contain stories for 23 characters, with new stories for all three of the Continuum Shift DLC characters: Makoto Nanaya, Valkenhayn R. Hellsing, and Platinum the Trinity, as well as a story for the only new character in Extend, Relius Clover. The game will also include ‘Sector Seven’ and ‘Academy’ side-stories and new installments of the ‘Teach Me, Booby Lady!’ and ‘Help Me, Prof. Kokonoe’ tutorial episodes. Fans will have plenty to sink their teeth into when BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend is released for PS Vita, PS3, and Xbox 360 this Valentine’s Day.

I'll stick with the PAL AU version as Zen United charge an arm and a leg for postage, then just post them in padded bags, so they get damaged in transit icon_razz.gif

Yeah, that Ragna cover is pretty bad ass. Pilot, you play much/often? icon_biggrin.gif

Anyway, isn't the limited edition posted by Zen pretty much just what we Aussies are getting? Minus the artbook and manga?
