Someone posted in that thread causing it create a new page but they then deleted the post. Leaving the new, 8th page there but no content.
It will sort itself out once someone posts the next post in there to add some content to the 8th page

A thought (and I apologise if this left of field question isn't entirely related to this), but is the complete lack of news and articles on the main website linked to the lack of back end forum updating? Seriously, it's like a barren wasteland on there.

So clocked it as taking about 2 minutes for an initial response this morning. I guess that server change didn't help or simply didn't happen?
Has anyone thought about purging posts/users that haven't been updated in the past 5 years or so? It could trim down the DB size and response times

I wasn't active on the forums for the first year of my account, as I was using my account to get a weekly release schedule emailed to me. Deleting users are likely to affect those that don't give a hoot about the forum, but love getting email updates.

I thought it was my computer giving me issues but i had the same pathetic speeds on my tablet. I notice the tech man who was giving us the ins and outs of palgn's server is nowhere to be seen. I guess if this is his "improvements" id hate to see what the alternative is.....

It's like it was upgraded and then downgraded. It's back to the bad bad old days where I have to load new pages in tabs. What gives?

He said he doesn't load forums in tabs. So presumably clicks on one, reads a post, back button, reads another post, back button, then back button, choose another forum... etc... you know... back button...
